Ten hours on one topic: how Android's Application, Activity, Fragment, ViewModel and Service components are created, paused and killed, and what to do about configuration changes and process death. Vasiliy Zukanov teaches it, and the syllabus shows 76 lectures across nine sections, with Fragments, Configuration Changes, Activities and Save and Restore each getting 100 minutes or more. Udemy labels it beginner, but the requirements ask for basic Android experience and the reviews come from working developers. It suits people who already ship apps and want to understand the bugs they keep hitting, or who have an interview coming up.

Reviewers praise the why-and-how approach over callback memorization, and one says it helped surface and fix bugs in personal projects. The course is great, but a module explaining compose lifecycle would be great. All i can find is the simple explanation of enter the composition -> recompose (0 or more times) -> leaves composition. But now, we use composables instead of fragments, so I am confuse on how it works

This course is very good and very complete, because I expected it to focus only on the core component “activities” and other components like "Fragments", however in addition. it illustrates other cases such as viewModels and services.

It was really useful course since it touched various aspects of lifecycle on Android. One thing I wish this course had, is there would be example lecture for custom view lifecycle and even widgets? Additionally, it would be nice to have lecture with Jetpack Compose.
