The instructor structured the course very well, going from theoretical concepts into practical implementations. This made it a lot easier to grasp concepts introduced later such as the usage of scopes with Dagger (or Hilt) frameworks. Also, even though he clearly states he doesn't like view models, he provided a whole section on how to use dependency injection with ViewModels. I find this really important because ViewModels are endorsed by Android and I think, even though we may or may not use them, it's crucial that we now how to work with them in case some client/project demands it. Finally, he went even beyond and after finished the course, he recorded and added a new section regarding Hilt ("new" Android dependency Injection framework) and lectured us on how to integrate it into our app and use it. All in all, amazing course and would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about dependency injection.

Very good explanations of Dependency injection theory before starting into dagger. Starting with a crude implementation, then refactoring each functionality based on separation of concerns & Single responsibility principle, followed by Manual/pure DI. Later explains advantages of using dagger over manual DI. Dagger Conventions are explained well with live coding, especially, the dagger 2 usage with View model is awesome. I highly recommend this course. Tip/Note: Please revise and make notes of conventions, implement them. Don't be in a hurry to cover the course. Take time. Understanding DI for the 1st time takes times to grasp. I wanted to finish the course in 2 week, but it took around 4 weeks for [a little dumb] people like me :D.

At times, there was a bit of inconsistency between the lectures: While for the most part, all concepts were explained thoroughly ( sometimes with a lot of repetition), there were times that a key concept wasn't adequately explained. What's more, there were some bits missing when it came to adding a new feature. The lecturer jumped straight in the code, without going through the code changes in the layout

The absolute best android course i've ever taken(not just dagger 2). To be honest since i'm fairly new to android development i've been using dagger 2 as just a set of rules . This course gave a lot of clarity to it. The Journey to Dependency Injection Section was eye opening to android development in general and in my opinion as important as the rest of the sections. I would be lying if i said i understood it all but i feel a lot more confident using dagger 2 now. This is not a beginner course and not a course you can grasp in one sitting. Having said that its a gift that keeps on giving depending where you are on your Android Development Journey. Will be back for another run after a few months thats for sure. Thank you Vasiliy for being such a wonderful instructor.

Thank you Vasiliy for the wonderful work - I didn't know any thing in DI - I was writing most of my application in GOD Activity Class - bloated with thousand lines of code all the time . Key take away for me in this course is Separation of concerns - Code Modularity - Law/ Rule of Demeter - Dagger2 - Hilt . Now I am lacking writing test cases so that I have taken/ Subscribed a course Android Unit Testing and Test Driven Development - from you . I just love the code getting modularised and scaling - it's absolute beauty . I am practicing it to get it on to my finger tips . Thanks a ton .

It's important that Vasiliy starts with the fundamental explanation of Dependency Injection that helps to build a picture of what it is and why it's so widely used. Then he explains an undervalued topic about pure DI that's, in my opinion, really important to understand and be able to implement. And the final part about Dagger/Hilt is just amazing! I've worked with Dagger before, but I wasn't really sure I knew the conventions. This course filled in the gaps in my knowledge and now I feel much more confident. The way Vasiliy presents the material is VERY fascinating. Once a question arises in my head during the lecture, the instructor answers it. It was the great trip to DI world and many thanks to Vasiliy for that! All in all, I'm really sure every Android developer should go through the course cause it explaines not only HOW to use Dagger, but shows the whole picture with all required fundamentals.
