Course Description
We can use Angular to create powerful frontend web applications powered by TypeScript / JavaScript. What if we can use the Angular knowledge to build applications that can be published as progressive web apps, native mobile apps running on any iOS or Android device and electron desktop apps with the same codebase.
Ionic 4 allows you to do just that. We can use your existing Angular, HTML, JS and CSS knowledge and build PWA, native mobile apps. This allows you to focus on the things you know and release your application on all possible devices (desktop and mobile) without having to learn different technologies to build apps for different platforms.
Ionic 4 is completely based on web components (Using Stencil).
This course takes you from zero to published app, taking a very practice-orientated route. We'll build a news app throughout this course, we'll see how we can use the Ionic component library, how to fetch and handle user input, how to store data and much more!
We will touch on various topics like Architecture, Components, Navigation, Tabs, Sidemenus, User Input, Native Device Features, Storage, Http, etc...
And since building apps is only part of the fun, you'll of course also learn how to run your apps either in the browser, on an emulator or on your own device!
What exactly are you going to learn then?
Angular Refresher
Ionic Fundamentals
How to set up your Ionic 4 projects
Using different Ionic 4 templates Blank, Tabs, and Sidemenus
The basics about Ionic 4 - How navigation works, how your project is structured and you use its rich component library
Ionic 4 project architecture
Creating a user interface with the Beautiful Ionic 4 Components
Show Modals, Alerts, Toasts and many more useful UI components
Test the app in the browser, on emulators and real devices
Using Ionic storage
Building PWA and deploy on Firebase Hosting
and much more ...
So Let's Get Started.

My name is Baljeet Singh and I am a Full Stack Web/Mobile Developer.
I have a bachelor's degree in computer science. I started out learning to code by building websites in PHP, but have since worked with many other technologies such as Laravel, AngularJS, Ionic, VueJS, Express etc. on both frontend and backend. I love both worlds nowadays.
I have been a self-taught learner as long as I can remember and what I really love is sharing my findings and learnings with the world through blogs, websites and in-person. I highly encourage you to have a look at my website if you are curious. I love the quote “Teaching someone else is the best way to learn”.
When I am not programming or designing with a computer, I like to practice vocal music and music production. I love playing computer games and my favorite game is FIFA. I also am an open source contributor.

I think this a great course for anyone new to Ionic or PWA, but if you're new to Angular as well I think you'll be kind of lost as the lectures don't go into much detail at all about Angular concepts. It's much easier to pick up Ionic if you're familiar with Angular.

Tutorial is nice, but the routing in the videos needs to be updated. It's very confusing, and there is only one note about one section for correcting it. Mine is still having routing issues, because the source won't load correctly, and there isn't a reference for fixing it

Very good, the teacher knows well about ionic real useful knowledge/technic and also the way how human can learn new things quickly. Only one thing I want this class improve is publishment sections were just copy paste of official doc and I was having many issue with this. Anyway still high recommend this course for your first ionic learning

3.5 out of 5 |I just finished the Angular part. The instructor is amazing in the practical part, but he neglects the theoretical part. I feel like I'm just repeating his implementation of the code. he supposed to deliver more explanation of what he does as he codes. I think if he described what are the decorators, components, services and module etc... it would be much easier to understand the logic of Angular.

Compact but rich with content. No wasting time of unneccessary talking. I'm amazed this is only 5 hours. Before this, i only choose to buy courses with longer hours, but this prove that i am wrong! Great courses.

Excellent Course that I highly recommend if you want to learn the latest Ionic and Angular in one course. I followed every code and solved some minor bugs in my own which is good experience because it make you think. The sample code really good or even EXCELLENT, for this is a very hands on learning that you really need to do in order to learn programming.

This course has been spot on with introducing with the things I need to get up and going with Ionic and Angular. I now feel that I can my other skills and combine with the knowledge I just gained and build some great projects. Thanks!

Good knowledge here but based on the pace doesn't seem like he's interested in students coding along nor does he really "teach" i.e. doesn't really explain fully why he does what he does. Especially at the end he covered some areas which I have not encountered so I found the course very useful. Best for a person like myself who already has experience, not an absolute beginner.

The course fully met my expectations. It gave me a very good insight into the two technologies (Angular, Ionic). The practical example is complete and shows very well the current application possibilities. I had no problem following this course and I booked another course from this lecturer. With the favorite words of the lecturer I now conclude "it's all right! :) Greetings Baljeet, keep up the good work!

An essential Ionic course for people who have been dabbling with angular. Covers Ionic essentials completely. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep up the good work
