Ionic Basics (Udemy.com)

I'm amazed with this course, the clarity of every topic is impressive, I did not know it was easier to develop with Ionic than the Android Studio siute. I'm glad I landed in this course and I want to thank the author of the excellent contents of this course. This is the first time I see this level of clear explanations. 5 stars out of 5.

Geeft een goed beeld van wat er mogelijk is en hoe het is opgebouwd. De versie waarop het gebouwd is, is echter verouderd en kan niet voor studiedoeleinden worden gebruikt. De focus ligt in deze training alleen op Android, de verschillen met iOS en het publiceren worden niet behandeld.

I think the material covered was good. Personally I may watch it again to better grasp the information. I did feel like it went a little fast and the person talking sounded a little like a machine. I think some downloadable resources would be helpful. I know they have them in some Udemy courses. I think this course needs downloadable resources too.

The video is well doc, however it required to be updated for Ionic 6 as alot of time required to do mapping of the content to Ionic 6. The last part of the APK creation onward is encounter issue as such publish to google store is not possible. It will be better if there is a section to show how to download the app to HP directly for testing.

Really an amazing course for beginners and for those who desire for mobile app development. Lots of learning i gained from this superb course. Thanks for this great course! Happy Learning!

Great content for intro to ionic, Would be helpful to update section videos to indicate changed in v4 and perhaps reference. NOTE that the changes in v4 are easy to understand and implement.

This is a simple course, but really useful. Author covers probably 75% of things you will need to create an app using ionic (example: navigating through pages, binding data to fields, calling APIs, displaying APIs and even publishing the app to the google store) Highly recommended if you want to get started with Ionic. I've also bought the IONIC+FIREBASE by the same author for a more advanced use.

Overall very pleased with the course. It was concise, and did well to introduce the various components. The weather app at the end was nice in the way to used HTTP and API but would have liked to see the username and password completed with similar real word functionality. Still - for the cost and time, it was a great value!

Ionic Basics is as you would expect, a course about the basics of Ionic. The largest part of the course covers the Ionic UI components and gives a brief and very useful overview to quickly get started. A second, shorter part, is all about writing a fully functional app that integrates with a REST service. In this section you'll also learn a bit about what goes on behind the UI. The final part covers publishing to the Android Play Store. Things you will not find in this course (not necessarily bad, this is after all a basics course) are coverage of TypeScript and Angular. You'll probably want to follow additional courses for these. Neither will you find an explanation on how to publish an iOS app. Overall this is a thorough introduction to Ionic. Probably best suited for developers with a bit of experience because of the quite rapid pace (which I liked).
