Great and fantastic course but faced a lot of issues for initial setup because of outdated esp-matter and Chip repo, as the commands for initial setup is dated. After solving the issues, I am very glad that I have taken this wonderful. Half way through I am enjoying it. The chip-tool functionality was well explained. Enjoying it!. Thousands of thanks for such a great course!

The course was disappointing. It primarily focuses on demonstrating examples already available in the Matter repository, which can be accessed and followed independently without this course. I was expecting more hands-on guidance on creating a custom IoT application and integrating it with real-world platforms like Home Assistant. Unfortunately, it lacked any substantial content on real-life application development or deeper insights into implementing unique IoT solutions. I wouldn’t recommend it for those seeking practical application development skills or advanced integration techniques

The course provides an extremely good introduction and adopts a highly practical learning approach to the Matter protocol. The instructor has an extremely clear idea about what he wants to deliver and does so in a very eloquent fashion. Having taken up multiple courses for learning IoT related stacks, I can say with confidence that this is one course that provides a clear picture of how devices, specifically, Matter devices can be deployed to production following best practices in code, security and commissioning. Not to mention that the video editing and content delivery was top notch. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to venture to the Matter protocol!

This course is a great introduction to IoT development with Matter and the ESP32. The instructor's expertise shines through in clear explanations and structured content. The hands-on labs provide practical experience, making complex concepts accessible. The course materials are high quality, with well-edited videos and useful supplementary resources. Suggestions for improvement include delving deeper into advanced topics and considering additional practice labs to help enforce some of these more advanced topics e.g. setting up a Border Router on a Raspberry Pi. Despite this minor room for improvement, this course offers great value and I would highly recommend it for aspiring IoT developers.
