IT for recruiters and talent management professionals (Udemy.com)

The course was very good, detail oriented with plenty of useful knowledge for an IT Recruiter. I'm wondering if the knowledge of coding, writing scripts is really needed for a tech recruiter (the tasks at the end of each session were tech oriented and a bit harder to accomplish without proper knowledge base before).

os testes após alguns módulos, mais técnicos, não são propriamente úteis para recrutadores. o conteúdo é interessante para termos uma visão técnica, contudo, alguns testes não são úteis. a comunicação por vezes é um pouco massuda/extensa. poderia ser algo mais dinâmico, incluido os slides/imagens em si. Porém, tem informação bastante útil.

The instructor was informative and gave an overview of the IT basic concepts for non-IT people. What is highly missing are actual examples and videos from well-known companies in the industry so as to grasp the knowledge better. For example, it would help to give real examples of Software as a service and Platform as a service in order to understand the difference between them and not just generic definitions. Thank you for this course!

Maaike does a good job teaching the basic IT knowledge for recruiting and gives excelent tips about recruiting and going the extra mile. What could be improved is, when talking about coding, the class in Java should not have been somehow improvised because it makes it confusing. Overall a great course!

I want the assignments to give more real-time feedback and maybe include quizzes to test my knowledge beyond the hands on work. I think quick knowledge checks would be good just to help me know that I’m on the right path. I also would love it if I could do more of the class on my phone!

Great to have a course designed from a software developers perspective instead of a recruiters perspective. Was somewhat technically challenging for a non-IT person but the instructor did a good job of giving examples and activities to help with the learning. There is a great section to help recruiters understand their clients and candidates!

Maaike is a great instructor! The course flow and assignments were well thought out and designed. Maaike also conveyed the content very well. It gave a very nice overview. The course offers good information according to its duration, but in some places there seemed to be gaps. Since I don't know about IT, I sometimes had to ask people from the IT industry during the course. Maybe it can be explained in more detail what we are expected to do in that assignment before the assignments. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to become an IT Recruiter.

Maaike is very nice and smart lector and helped me a lot with this course to understand the basics of IT recruitment. Even if it is focused mainly for recruiters in recruitment agencies (especially the second part) I will definitely use the information in internal recruitment too. Thank you :)

This course is great, the explanations were really clear and useful. I have been working in the IT sector for 2 years and I wish someone would have explained all these things to me so clearly when I started working in this field. The only drawback I found is that the course focuses maybe too much on the development part (probably because the teacher is herself a developer), I would have appreciated a greater insight on the systems and networking part. Also, I think that the text box we have for excercises is not the best tool for answering the assignment questions, but this is a minor issue.
