Very good course, well explained and paced correctly by not going too in-depth about the nuances of the language and the grammar. It's a very useful platform for beginners, but don't expect to be fluent after this course, it will help you with the basics and allow you to progress.

I did not take the full 14 weeks, because I wanted to see the content available after being put off by the very weak, very short first week of lessons. If I was okay with it, I would "redo" the course properly. For the most part, it was informative; however, it definitely wasn't 14 weeks worth of content. I would say their 4-5 weeks was equivalent to 1 week in a regular course applying the same method.
There were spelling errors here and there, and there were a few parts where the instructor got a little lazy (e.g. "here is time. I will show you how to do seconds and hours, but there is no rhyme or reason for minutes which is very complicated so I am not going to bother covering that." Paraphrasing.). Others complained about not seeing more Kanji or Hiragana, etc., but I liked how they used romanisation spelling because it allowed me as a super-duper beginner to follow along.
Over all, I think the instructor and his team put a lot of effort into this course, but it is still very rough around the edges and could've been better. It just isn't worth the $150 (approx) it originally goes for, especially since the instructor is no longer present based on other feedback. I can barely justify $18 (the discounted price at present) that I got it for. I would be okay with it between $10-$15, but I would have been absolutely livid if I spent $150 (or much more than $15 in general) on this program. I think I will return it and see if I can find a program that is a little more... polished, a little more thorough. I think at the end of writing this review, I've realised how not content I am with it.
But thank you for having taken the time to make this, Steve. I know you're not around, but with a little more content (and no laziness!) and some editing, this would probably be a really fantastic course to take.
If you're ultra-new to Japanese and this is on onee hck of a discount, it might be worth for you to take. But don't buy it at full price or anywhere near full price.
