It was a great class, my only suggestion would be to sprinkle the exercises more evenly through the class. The massive load of exercises all being at the end quickly began to feel exhaustive and tedious. I would have liked to practice each concept more thoroughly as the class progressed. Other than that, it was informative and fun.

It covers important Java concepts, uses practical LeetCode problems, and gradually improves problem-solving skills. Great for beginners who want to build a strong foundation.

So far so good. I'm taking a Java course in the summer, and I wanted to see what it's about. So far, the professor does a great job explaining what the codes mean and showing the shortcuts.

This course is how, in my opinion, all courses should be on Udemy. Simple, clear explanations, with an instructor who is VERY easy to understand. I have consumed quite a few courses on this platform and have to say, Scott is my favorite instructor. I will definitely be looking for more material from him!

Introduction lessons are very basic and teach the fundamentals in a clear and detailed way. Maybe even a little to detailed but I can see how it would help someone entirely new to programming. But after that the learning curve gets steeper very quickly. The code exercises at the end of the course often require knowledge that wasn't taught anywhere in the course. This gets frustrating quickly. It makes sense learning more features through code challenges but that requires atleast some explanation of these features and not just copying challenges from leetcode. Especially if the first coding challenges start at a toddler level.
