Jira for Beginners - Detailed Course to Get Started in Jira (Udemy.com)

Although I have been in the operations world that last 5 years, I've never had a formal training on any terms or specifics. This so far has given me more foundational knowledge that any job I have worked at.

I am glad it is teaching about Jira Cloud. When my organization moved to Jira cloud, everything in Jira seemed to be re-arranged on the screen and I have gotten lost with a few of my tasks. This course helped me find where those are. It also showed me some cool new features while also showing me how my organization's implementation is actually not the basic offering or configuration (so I'm not going crazy, lol). I do recommend mentioning the fact that this is about Jira Cloud, not Jira on-prem, in your description of the course to help anyone else determine if this is the right course for them.

Thorough experience w/Udemy and Jira training, well articulated goals and objectives for utilizing various platforms such as Kanban/Scrum and various project management tools in general.

The overview was informative—I’ll give it that. However, what I will say is that I wish it were interactive, with a mock Jira template or website to use. It’s one thing to be told what to click and go through, but this is definitely something that won’t stick if we aren’t given an interactive space to explore.

This was a good introduction class on Jira. I was able to quickly come up to speed on the Jira tool and obtain greater comprehension of the Jira projects that exist in my work environment. I learned how to navigate Jira and find the information that I need when I need it. I also learned about the differences and limitations of Company managed projects over team managed projects. I did really enjoy this class.

The course was very comprehensive and well structured and it helped me understand what Jira can do and how to use some of its features. I think to truly master it, the only way is through lots of hands-on experience, but this course provided me with the confidence and knowledge to make a start getting hands-on in Jira.

Everything has been explained in such a detailed and hands on manner that it becomes easier to understand and then implement the same on our own. Thank you so much for delivering such high quality content.

Clear and concise. The lessons were broken out in a rationale way, such that if you are looking for a specific topic, you can find it quickly. I think the only thing I would expound upon is how the underlying data model of fields/issues/screen/workflows tie together in a visual depiction, but the instructor does a swell job describing the linkages.

I really enjoyed this course. The explanations were clear, helped reinforce concepts, and the instructor was very knowledgeable. The pace was comfortable, and the materials were well structured. I would definitely recommend this course to others.

I know agile and I know scrum, but JIRA and kanban is new to me. I am very satisfied with what I have learned so far. As I do not have the JIRA tool installed, I cannot practice, but I still feel comfortable that I could use what I am learning from day one with a new client.
