This course is very out of date and takes a lot of wasted time instead of jumping into the course and the tasks you need.

Everything is explained in a slow nice pace..so you can decide whether to skip it or not... However I found quite difficult to understand the FTP section and how to get an account to upload the website to the internet, so I had to use youtube tutorials to keep up with that part of the course. Otherwise, It's perfect

I've not completed the course yet but so far the material is valuable. I taught myself Dreamweaver and learned only what I felt I needed at the time. So, I decided to take this course to learn all I never taught myself. It has helped. I've already picked up a lot of tips I didn't have before. Since I know HTML and CSS, there is a lot here I already know. As a result, I decided to take the advice and speed up the video to run at 1.5 times the regular speed. This really helps and I would second the suggestion for anyone taking the course who already has some experience with making sites in Dreamweaver. Another point, it is nice that the class includes a PDF download of the course AND mp3s of the audio tracks. Update: I chose to take this class because I want to continue to use Adobe CS6. The idea of updating to the next version and paying, monthly, for the use of something I could once buy, outright, is infuriating to me. Enough so that I am seeking alternatives to Adobe altogether. So, I chose not to subscribe to Adobe on a month-to-month basis which is what the next update of Adobe would require. As a result, I am using an older version of Dreamweaver. I guess given that the class was set up in 2012, I shouldn't be surprised BUT the instructor for this class doesn't seem to have answered a question in years. Perhaps something happened to him or perhaps the class isn't worth following. But, if you're like me and want to continue to use CS6, I wouldn't expect instructor feedback given what I have seen to this point.

As a beginner to this particular programme, I find this course very intuitive. It covers all the very basics aswell as tips and tricks to speed up flow of production. This course was well worth the investment thus far. The only low point was when the tutor was talking about uploading the site. I felt he could have given more information about how people set up the domain etc.

So far I have found this course to be very useful and enjoyable. The only thing I have found a little frustrating is that the pace has been somewhat slow at times. I understand that the course is aimed at beginners but I would have felt that people would be aware of what keyboard shortcuts etc are given that they are looking into web design?

I really like this course because it is fairly easy to follow along and to understand. The tone of the instructor is clear and precise as well as informative and never boring, in my opinion. it definitely helps to you understand how to navigate through DW CS6 with ease; however, I would definitely like to take a course like this pertaining to creating a professional business website of some sort. I would recommend this course for anyone trying to understand DW CS6 before more advanced options. Good job!

This is a fantastic course for people who have NEVER used Dreamweaver before (or created a website before). If you have created a website or used a different version of Dreamweaver, it may seem slow and a little boring at times. However, the course is EXTREMELY thorough and goes through just about everything you could ever have a question about in an easy-to-follow, step-by-step manner. Highly recommend it for beginning web designers.

Great course - even after completing an expensive advanced course online, this course supplied me with valuable snippets that i wasn't told before which would not only make the workflow better and easier but cleared up previous issues i had. My only criticism as such would be that I would have preferred each video in bit size portions of 4-6 mins rather than 16 mins which seemed to be the average video time. I also felt that the videos could have been a lot clearer, i found myself squinting to read some of the coding which, had it been clearer would of enhanced the learning curve. Apart from that, a great course valuable not only to anyone starting but to those who have already learnt the basics of DW or more, you'll find some snippets you didn't know before. Thank you very much! :)

I am half way through this courses and cannot believe how incredible it is. The instructor from Simon Setz explains everything in details and in a manner that you don't feel rush or frustrated, if I had the cash I would buy every single courses from this company without hesitations. Thank you (I believe his name is Toby.)

I felt this course was very good to follow for someone without any experience of Dreaweaver and webdesign in general. It was also very easy to follow even though English is not my native language, since I am from the Netherlands. Improvements for this course, in my opinion is maybe telling more about CSS styling of the page, like padding and marging of a page, text or a logo. I missed that information and it would improve the site enormous. Another minor point of critique is in the beginning of the course there is a statement the site will be build at least two times. In my opinion is adding just one page ( like a fluid grid page ) not building the site for the second time. Building from scratch would then be building a site for the second time Overall, this is a nice introduction course for a beginner of Dreamweaver
