The whole course didn't make much meaning to me. The course materials seem old, as ,many of the apps I was to download to aid my learning are now old and obsolete. There was a ruby app i was meant to download and the course advised me to download the latest version, which was 1.9 but the sight has more current versions now of 3.0 and 3.3. I couldn't proceed as I was getting so many errors. Generally, I wouldn't say the course is simplified enough.

The instructor made a huge leap from introducing cloud concepts in section 2, to advanced setups in section 3. He assumed a lot of concepts without introducing them. Also this course has not been updated in 6 years, so it's out of date. I thought most Udemy courses do keep updating content. But on the good side, many of the concepts were well explained.

It needs more clarity on installation of Red Hat, What happens if we face error during installation. Also configuring Red Hat in AWS. Need proper guide. Video did not clarify properly the installation process.

Good overview of Cloud computing concepts, would have liked to see a bit more detailed material that covers pros and cons of Cloud vs traditional virtualisation, and maybe a subjective look at which commercial offering would be a preferred option. Happy with the course overall though, great job.

Great course that made the subject very easy to understand. I didn't know much about the topic and I thought it was too difficult. After taking this short course, I could understand it well.

Great content. On lecture 5 about red hat, the pace went from normal to ultra fast so it could fit a 22 minute lecture. Also you have to fix the order because initially google was supposed to be lecture 5 but instead it was red hat. The trainer's voice is a little bit monotone sometimes and the way he enunciates may not be the best one, maybe a more natural enunciation would be better, but not big deal.

Class provided good, reasonably up to date information on the latest cloud technologies. Presenter does a great job making everything simple and clear. Mac, Windows and Linux/Unix perspectives are taken into account for each scenario, although demonstrations are mostly done with Windows. At one module on OpenShift with Oracle Virtualbox, there is a network fix that goes unaddressed, but in searching Google, it appears to maybe be a DNS issue on the OpenShift image being at the wrong address range if you are using 255.255.255.0 for your DHCP, and thus returns an invalid 10.0.2.x address. I am headed over to the course documentation now, to see if its addressed there. Hopefully it is.

This course teaches us what is cloud computing and help us to set up several cloud computing sites. However, it doesn't teach us how to use them by creating projects.

Helps you understand the basics and gives you a good insight of the technology. I wanted a little bit more of concepts and theory of Cloud computing. Personnally the tone of the voice made me a little bit sleepy and was sometimes a bit to repetitive, but then again it's a basic course. If you do one that goes deeper I'll watch it!

Actually a pretty decent course but it's not apparent where/how to get the resources. I finally figured out you have to click on the view resources and then a panel opens on the right side to expose the resources download and the video for the section.
