Learn Dart Programming for Flutter (Udemy.com)

Very clear, basic and to the point :-) Perfect until Section 8 / 24 and I'm a little lost as I don't understand why we need the different constructors, perhaps that will be covered in section 25. Really good instructor and I will be looking for more content from him as I move into Flutter development.

A little fast paced, but quite concise. Its a good handbook like video set, we can navigate back to key concepts in case we forget about something. Its sharp enough. and concise. I like the handbook like course format. Its opened to go further in whichever area of Dart we use most, but its like the basic set of plugs to create more.. I definitely recommend it. Very nice work

I have a programming background in Java and Python but haven't used Dart before. I am trying to learn Flutter and wanted a good foundation in the Dart programming language. This course provides a great overview. It provides a good balance of theory and hands on exercises and moves along at a nice pace. Well done to the instructor!

Very detailed and very nice emphasis on the most important parts that needs to be known by experienced programmers! Beginners may need to have plenty of pauses during videos to try out each and every new thing they learn as the speaker goes but that's part of the experience of being new to programming

It works as a nice enough primer for basic Dart usage in Flutter. Some constructs in Flutter will require a bit deeper understanding of Dart than this, but this can help you get started with the basics. Some Flutter courses also includes short Dart primers and introduce more advanced concepts on the way as you learn Flutter. Regardless of that, a basic primer like this is in my opinion always a good idea if you are totally unfamiliar with a language.

Great content, covers all the basics of the language very well. In some parts, e.g. hashed maps, it mentions them as though there'll be more detail later but then doesn't, nor does it explain why you'd use some aspects in real life - e.g. callable classes, but these are minor and overall a good course.

It was a great match. Hope that app development with the Flutter Framework proves to be just as easy to digest not to mention server-side development(frontend as well as backend). Thanks for exhibiting such great patience in terms of producing this material for others to learn.

Can't complain that this is free and does cover most topics well. I am still in the middle of taking this course. At first it's a little difficult to understand with the instructors accent for me but l soon got used to it. The lessons are organized well. So far there was one part missing from the end of lesson 6 for some reason. I would remove a star for that but it was easy to look it up for myself. Honestly for being free, as long as there is no wrong information given, this is awesome and so I will give 5 stars still.

Comparing languages as an explanation is no explanation at all. E.g: saying this is like Java, or unlike Python, etc. have no use to people who don't know those languages, and if they do know such languages, then this whole course is way too basic for them. Other than that, the course is great for people with some programming notions. It's very thorough and well explained.

Great course for beginners. Most of the dart courses assume you are an experienced swift, java or javascript developer, and could easily work out all the logic yourselves. Unfortuantely it's not that simple for everyone. I struggled with two other dart courses before I came across this one, and I found it so helpful in clarifying all the basics. I really like Sriyank's style, have done some of his android courses on another site, and find his courses particularly clear for beginners.
