Learn Paintstorm for digital painting (Udemy.com)

Good intro to Paintstorm. Not a lot of tutorials out there for this very underrated program so stumbling upon this one is a lifesaver! While I would've wanted it to go more in depth it does a good enough job of getting you up to speed with the essentials. Super excited to use the program now!

Mr. Neil just flawlessly taught this course, where you can hardly get tutorials of this underrated software although this doesn't compete to Photoshop. But I hope this software can compete to PS like blender.

I had actually never heard of Paintstorm before, have only ever used Photoshop or Krita for digital painting. When I was searching through courses I saw one on How To Paint like Bob Ross. When I checked the course out it said that a pre requisite for the course was this one. I was shocked to see that it was free. I want to Paintstorm website and downloaded the trial. This course is great. The instructor highlights only the most important tools that are needed to get started right away to do paint with this program. He gives examples, often gives a few ways to accomplish the same result so you can figure out what you like best and what works best for you. I bought the Bob Ross class and can't wait to get started it on it!

Very practical introduction to the platform with a focus on the essentials. This is a good training program to help you decide if Paintstorm is the right painting platform for you.

Hij gaat er uitgebreid op de tools etc. in en dat is oké. De meeste tutorials gaat er te oppervlakkig op in . Helemaal top dus. Bravo Neil.

So far it is good experience navigating inside the software and having idea about its different functionalities.

I am not a very experienced graphics user. I appreciate that Niel has an extensive knowledge of what he's teaching, but I lost much of the content. He moves the cursor too fast and, sometimes, without explanation as to what he is doing. He also speaks fast, and, as an old man, I find it hard to catch all he says. The scripts provided have too many errors to compensate for this problem.

This course has the perfect pacing for me. Having experience in similar programs I am able to get up to speed easily.
