Learn to Code with Python (Udemy.com)

A little too basic sometimes for someone who already knows how to code in python. Would recommend an update on the course with more advanced topics and more complex projects.

I truly enjoyed the content and learned a lot. However, the audio quality was a bit of a letdown—there was a noticeable echo, as if the recording was done in a large room or far from the microphone. Improving the audio would make this already great course even better!

At this point, I'm assuming that this is 'simple' Python knowledge, however, for me, it takes a bit more time to comprehend it all. But the videos, assignments, quizs are really helping me understand it, and if I don't I just take a step back.

I know Boris from other course that he has here in Udemy. Is the course about Rust. And the good explanations of that one brought me to buy this one too. I'll always recomend Boris because of his very clear and calmly (what means security and well explained) instructions.

After this course, I took classes at a local college surrounding Python. I actually found myself coming back to these courses to help me understand topics that my professor was not teaching as well. Boris- you do such a great job of breaking down the WHY and going through step by step for each method. Thank you thank you thank you!

You possess exceptional in-depth knowledge of Python and deliver complex concepts in such a simple, approachable way - I truly cannot thank you enough. As a Data Analytics Product Development Manager from a non-Computer Science background, now aspiring to become a Data Science Product Dev Manager, this course has been invaluable to me. I started it over a year ago and learned most concepts step by step. Due to work commitments, I had to pause and return to the course multiple times, and each time it felt seamless to pick up where I left off. I initially rated the course 5 stars midway through without any comments; and now that I’ve completed it, I can confidently say it’s absolutely worth it. You’ve covered so many key computer science fundamentals that I always regretted missing out not choosing CS in my Uni back in 2008–2009. This course feels like the perfect complement to Python learning. For anyone starting Python from scratch, I highly recommend beginning with this course before moving on to other fancy courses like “100 Days of Code”, etc. It’s clear, comprehensive, and incredibly practical. I have also completed Boris' Pandas course before completing this python course as that was urgently needed for my role. Final Verdict: Highly highly recommended for beginners and professionals alike!

What an exceptionally great course! No doubt, Boris is one of the best teachers I have ever encountered. I must emphasise word teacher. Boris has nice way to actually teach, explain and justify in great detail. Building the course project from a scratch while practising test driven approach and discussion around design patterns was just excellent approach! In general, course was very comprehensive introduction to Python. However, I do have some wishes for additional course content. Not sure if these fit into this course context and these may also belong to more advanced topics that could be covered by another course. Topics: Concurrency or threading are important concepts in Python, which are not being touched in this course. Maybe concurrency could be shortly introduced within this course context. I would hope bit more basic training for generators and usage of Yield. In the Dates and Time section concept of Time Zone could be introduced within some of the examples. I think type hinting has become important concept in Python, that could be useful to cover in this course. For many applications Databases are important and quite wide topic. Could this course give some brief introduction to working with databases in Python? Thanks!

Up to now it is a little basic for me, but I think it is perfect for someone completely new to programming.

I am not new to programming, so the course was easy for me, but in general I liked the speed and explanations. Would recommend it.
