I used to be a VBA developer many years ago but (with age) have forgotten most of my knowledge. Doing this course to remind myself on main principles. I really like your style and use of analogies to teach concepts. For example. I knew what absolute and relative references meant but never thought of it in the way you described. Your way makes it much easier to understand.

I am only a few lessons in but I already feel the need to say that this course, so far, has already made VBA so much clearer to me. Topics are explained very well, but in a way that doesn't feel patronising. My experience with other courses made me feel like the tutor assumes I've never used a PC before - let alone the software the course revolves around - with constant references to the simplest of computing shortcuts and actions. Thank you for not treating your students, who want to learn advanced VBA, like we are computer illiterate, and for providing assessments than are genuinely beneficial to our development. A*

Very good introduction into different VBA areas and topics. Some of examples might have been pre-developed for course purposes. Also what is missing, I think, is a lecture on GetOpenFile method as well as on FileDilog. Nevertheless, the explanations help a lot to get a thorough understanding of VBA language.

I thought the course would be too long and complicated but to cover the VBA subject you need lots of sections. The author presented multitudes of subjects, but in a clear and concise manner. I found myself trying almost every subject after it was presented. Much better class that I originally thought it would be. I strongly recommend this course if you want a broad presentation of VBA.

Very good for Excel users looking to take their Excel skills to the next level and learn all the basics of coding along the way. As with learning any coding language, you will need to put in some time on the side to work on your own projects and commit the concepts to memory, but Boris does a great job explaining everything you need to get there.

Above my expectations! Well explained, with a lot of exercises. We give and receive feedbacks from other students. Really well structured course. Perfect even for people who speaks english as a second language.

The instructor is very knowledgeable about the topics covered. He presents them in concise, easily absorbed lectures. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn Excel VBA.

What I liked:
- a very good and comprehensive introduction to VBA;
- detailed and well structured explanations of the objects, properties and procedures
- good assignments
- I really learnt a lot
What might be improved:
- you could slow down your speaking pace
- more assignments with some real life examples
- your explanations , sometimes, could use a more intuitive (or down to real life) approach that can make them easier to follow (especially for beginners)
