Course Description

A translation of the Bible is a translator's "interpretation" of the text. The translator's doctrines and beliefs will often influence how the text will be translated and anyone using his translation is seeing it through his eyes rather than through the eyes of the original authors. Only by studying the original language of the Bible can one see the text in its original state.

Learning the Hebrew language can be both fun and exciting. Upon completing this course you will be reading Hebrew, building a Hebrew vocabulary and even begin translating Biblical passages for yourself.

Who this course is for:
Anyone interested in learning how to read the Hebrew Bible in its original language.
This course is not for learning the Greek language of the New Testament.

Jeff Benner

Mr. Benner first began learning Hebrew in 1995 and soon found that most instructions in Biblical Hebrew were missing a key ingredient, a cultural background to the language. After much research on this subject he founded the Ancient Hebrew Research Center in 1999 to share his research into the Ancient Hebrew alphabet, language and culture. Mr. Benner has written well over 500 articles for the Ancient Hebrew Research Center website, which receives about 500,000 visits a month and he has also produced over 200 videos. He has authored 13 books including; The Ancient Hebrew Lexicon of the Bible, The Torah: A Mechanical Translation and His Name is One.
Jeff lives in Mississippi with his wife Denise and their five children where they are developing their 2 acre homestead growing vegetables and raising chickens and occasional livestock. They live in a log house that they built with the trees from their property.

I am enjoying the course, but being unfamiliar with the Hebrew Alephbet and vowels I find that I have to repeat sections of the lessons to help me remember what has been taught.

All praise to our Father for giving us the opportunity to learn the best language in the world! The course gives you the foundation you need to understand the Scriptures. As you learn the building blocks of the language (nouns, verbs, etc) you cant help but remember certain scriptures and receive clarity as you go. This course has helped me in so many ways its hard to just say it was a good course. Yah bless you all.
