Using Git for the first time, and in Eclipse, this course showed me exactly what I need to know. Deducting half a point simply because some of the Eclipse details are now out of date - but it's still close enough to figure out what's needed.

I am an advanced Software Architect and Developer and only now in 2023 have I started using Git and GitHub in Eclipse. I was worried about having so much knowledge and not knowing how to use Git. This course solved my problem and now I feel comfortable using Eclipse + GitHub on a daily basis in my work. Congratulations.

This course gave me the best value for my money. I didn't want to sign up for a 40 hour course. I wanted to use Git/GitHub via Eclipse in the shortest time possible to get up and running and that is exactly what this course provides. I will have a lot more to learn, but I am off to a solid start. Great job by the instructor!!

Very descriptive and precise information provided. We can be very comfortable with the git topic after completing this course.

Everything is great, easy explanation with examples. I suggested everybody to go through this course. Synchronizing Workspace section can be better, it is excelent but short. I suggest to continue lection with finising resolving conflict, pull changes from remote repository, and push local changes, everything from synchronizing workspace view. Add one additional lecture, with workflow: create branch, do change on that branch, comit and push that branch, some Team Lead view pull/merge request on GitHub/GitLab, explain testers role and if confilict exist and don't exist, how developer get instruction what developer should do next, and do example about instruction(Resolve conflict, commit and push resolved confilct through the same branch.) And what Team lead to do on GitHub etc...

I am working on eclipse for past 2.5 yrs but was not aware of these functionalities . I had to use git cmd always but this was really helpful and easy to understand.

(1) Topics seem a bit disorganized, no logical flow of topics. (2) Too much setup included in videos that should have been already done and just present the purpose of the topic. (3) When showing things in video, goes way too fast, have to constantly stop and rewind the video over and over again to see what was done to wite it down since no notes included with the course. (4) Need summary notes for things done in video, a list of steps (what menu items were selected, what buttons pushed, etc) that were performed in the video. Those notes should be available as a downloadable resource to print instead of the only option being to re-watch videos. (5) Many setup steps were recorded multiple times over multiple topics, wasting time, (eg. Import from Git steps to setup a project in Eclipse). (6) If this course is supposed to be mainly about using Git and GitHub with Eclipse then it should only include Eclipse related topics but there were quite a few topics that were exclusively about GitHut - those should be moved to a GitHub course.
