In this course you will establish a solid foundation in your Vedic Astrology studies preparing you for parts 2 and 3. Vedic Astrology (also known as Jyotish) is an extremely valuable tool that you can use personally or for the benefit of others. After more than 10 years of witnessing human suffering working as a San Francisco Police Officer, and myself becoming a "victim" of dis"ease", finding an alternative to that lifestyle was not even a question anymore. Yoga, Ayurveda (Indian Medical System), Jyotish (Vedic Astrology), Hasta (Scientific Hand Analysis), and Vastu (Indian Feng Shui) are all passions of mine. I studied Ayurveda at the California College of Ayurveda and received certification at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm; both in Grass Valley, CA.

half of the time she is marketing the second and third part of the course and most of the remaining time she is reading out from the handouts or book. she seems to be having no experience in astrology

Instructor has immense knowledge and the way she transfers the knowledge is so visual that can make me understand all the fundamentals. It would have been very difficult for me to understand those fundamental concepts by reading books by myself. Overall the course was good ... quiz 10 had the question but I did not see a chart. I originally skipped the question due to that. I realized I could not finish the course until that was answered. For me from section 8 on was a bit confusing but I do plan to review it again and get some books to get a better idea. I do plan on taking part 2.
