O curso é bom, porém a pessoa que legendou o curso não entende bem o que o professor fala, portanto as legendas estão ruins

Things explained in very effective and clear way. A must check course for configuration and hands on experience. Kept this half star just for a tutorial wherein mysql installation process on hadoop was explained very fast with the screen not capturing commands. Thanks for this course

Content is very good for new comers, missing is executing hive queries through scripts along with variables. Some more internals are not explained in-depth. Like how can we add more files to HDFS directly without loading in tables. if we directly added files in folder will reflect in internal, external tables etc. missing concepts like UDFs, different SERDEs, storage, formats supported etc.

It was a short course with all the basic required things you need to know about hive . Please do not expect SQL training here . It will be more about hive. You can complete it less than 2 days and have all the required ideas for you start using hive. Could surely recommend it for any beginners in hadoop

I appreciate that the course is free and the fact that time and effort went into it; however, the course seems disjointed at times and just the flow of the material does not seem to hit a comfortable stride. The slides could have been a little more polished, for example, no reason to have CDH, CM and other acronyms as such when they are Cloudera-specific and not a lot of time and space are save by shortening them. Also, I felt some important parts were left out during editing and the use of the on-screen pencil was not helpful.

It has blend of theoretical introductory, practical hints and examples. However, it sometimes is touching very very quickly some topics and then leaves it open. Better to either no to touch new topic or once touched, explain something about it. Also, it does not have practices and won't give oppotunity to student to do their assignment.

The course is good for beginners but for deep understanding some more topics with more examples needs to be added . Hands on and few more exercises needs to be added for practice.

I really really appreciate the work you have done. But in this tutorials the explanations of all topics could be a little faster. This is not a claim, just my impression and my suggestions. Thanks so much.

All concepts are very well explained and this course is a must for anybody who would like to learn Hive. The real world examples and the hands on is really helpful. Appreciate the efforts of the instructor. Waiting for your course on sqoop and

I learned a lot in a clear concise way. This is a great opportunity for everybody to gain and improve their Hadoop Ecosystem tools like HIVE in detail. Auditing of Data will help us great in real time projects.
