Good.. but could have been better Loads of fluff.. didn't learn a lot of new unique techniques The course could be shorter and is stretched for no reason... Especially, the bloopers at the end of each video are extremely unnecessary and a waste of time

I am truly enjoying this course. The Instructors are engaging and makes this course fun and I know it will inspire me to learn Spanish and any other language I may be interested in the future. Looking forward to the rest of the course.

This course is a lot shorter than advertised as there are a few minutes of very annoying credits after each lecture. I guess the developers think this is funny, but its not, and very unprofessional.

This is an absolutely outstanding course! In fact, it is the best approach language learning that I have ever come across. It is science-based, smart and entertaining, while offering actionable strategies for achieving one's desired degree of fluency in any language. This course is not for those who are looking for a quick fix, miracle way to become fluent in any language in 30 days type of things. But this is entirely different. This is a holistic approach to language learning, and Dr. Dixon quite rightly emphasise, it does requires work and dedication, as any language learning journey does, but it also offers up entirely new ways of thinking and conceptualising language learning, explanations of what works, when and why, and why some people appear to be more successful than others at acquiring fluency. By applying those same strategies (it is not all native talent), combined with more traditional methods, we can all become much better at learning languages! This course is absolute MUST for anyone learning or thinking about learning a language, or two, or three. Why just stop at one? ;)

This course has been a great opportunity to see clearly all the principles that I was working on intuitively. However, since I had the luck to understand how these principles can be applied in your daily practices, I am positive my language learning process will swiftly become better and better. Thank you.

Is it possible to be silly to help learners retain and internalize knowledge longer without being stupid or ridiculous? Well Dr. Shane is the proof!! He is silly and he is fun... and a great guide in this learning process. This course helped me understand and overcome (or at least showed me how to fix) the main issues when learning a language. It has also provided me with ideas about apps, books and techniques to learn faster find motivation and "STAY" on the learning path. Thanks Dr. Shane and team.

The teaching points in this course are excellent. This course is well worth taking for anyone trying to improve their language learning abilities. Wish I had known this stuff 20 years ago. Please don't take following the wrong way. I'm reasonably sure I'm an outlier as far as your general demographic goes. I'm a 57 year old male who is a 10-year military veteran, a world traveler, a digital nomad, and quite introverted. I think social media as a whole is extremely dangerous and I am extremely cautious about 'connecting' with people in a gratuitous fashion. Over the years, in over 50 countries from Asia, through the Middle-East, Africa, and Europe, as well as South America, I have found that to be ... well ... not the best way to go through life. Experience has taught me that extreme caution is better when it comes to connecting with people. My point? The extremely 'perky' demeanor of the presenter and the naively simple position that everybody should want to connect and just make friends with other people ... just frankly annoying. For me. For a Gen X or Gen Z person in university and with no sense of the dangers of connection ... probably not so much. That said - I think your course makes excellent points and I agree with them all. But when you are an introvert, making connections is not one's raison d'être, and one considers social media dangerous at the very least ... then implementing some of your ideas becomes problematic. But, as I am down in Argentina, and trying to learn Spanish, I think there is no doubt that all of your points can help me ... to the extent that I can implement them.

Awesome course! Dr. Dixon is super interesting as always! I’ve completed another course with him, and learned tons from it. If you are considering taking this course, take it! You won’t regret it.

I love it, because I know for sure that this course will help me as a language learner, I would like to identify my weakness, and as a teacher, I would like to teach my learners to be autonomous.
