I have a Bachelor's Degree from City University of Seattle.

I first came in contact with programming back in the good 'ol days of Visual Basic 6 and Visual Basic for Applications. Manipulating Access databasea was so much fun! 

I moved onto Web development in early 2000's, using HTML and CSS, later added PHP. It was then when I realized I really enjoyed the coding of the back end much more than the design part...and that joy of coding stayed with me ever since.

I like the practice with explanations better for my level of understanding than spending a lot of time on low level explanations. Instructor is very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Enjoying it very much!

I've been programming for a little over a year now and this instructor does a great job at explaining things. He's quick which is also nice and he's extremely helpful. I also like that there are plenty of videos to follow through and he does a great job at showing things on the screen and knows what he's talking about. Very little mistakes made and you can tell he has a great understanding for what he's teaching. I've taken other courses and that's not the case in some of them.

Took this to have a look at VB which I've never worked with. Not always coming to the same solution, not always liking the naming conventions used, but in general I think it gave me a good look into how things works in VB. Thanks Pavol!

It is still great! Though should also put a minimal focus on the colateral elements of the forms ( listviews and columns, splitter container which drags only one datagrid view etc) because you get along with the code v well, congrats, but then you spend twice as much time on figuring out connex elements. BUt I guess it is intermediate programming ( even if I come from some other advanced programming on another language type I don't grasp all forms here v. well) Thanks!!! Great job!!

I'm not a beginner programmer and I wanted to find a course that's more about getting a taste of VB.NET and this course fulfilled that requirement. No long theory lectures or slides just practical coding.

I had previous programming experience on AS/400 in RPG. It seems like some of things they assume you know in the VB world have tripped me up. I specifically found the Auto Repair shop module on youtube and went through it. I was still having problems with my app, so I purchased the class to get access to the entire source code. It makes things I was struggling to understand before easy. Really helps to have a working example to start from.

Great course, I have experience with C# and needed to translate the syntax to visual basic and the instructor does a pretty good job of doing just that. The course size is also helpful allowing for much practice in using the visual basic syntax, but allowing the students to complete a project solo would have to be the only thing that is missing from an otherwise great course.
