Yes, this class is good because, for me already knowing other programming languages, the instructors is teaching things I need to know to understand how VB is different from other languages without getting bogged down in beginner knowledge.

Very well explained. I like it

I am coming from c# programming. And I find this course very efficient as beginning (with short and good examples) to understand the syntax difference between the two languages (c# and VB)

The Course is very good for fundamentals. Rod explains all fundamentals for VB (except database connection), but some things would be nice to have.
1. Mickey Mouse challenges as PDF
2. Don't speak so creepy fast.
3. A little big throw at the end, like a contact book, a little useful box or a little running game.
But I got much deeper in VB.NET and have solid fundamentals to go on now.
Thank you Rod

Well start

Having programmed for years with Visual Basic 6.0, I am finally taking the time to learn the .NET platform and the newer versions of VB. The explanations here are very clear and systematically laid out. Congratulations on the organization of the initial classes so far.

The tutorial is building its base step by step. The tutor does mention that the underlying code is deep and visual studio makes it simple for developers.

Working on a Mac computer, did not realize upon purchase of course the Visual Studio for Visual Basics was different than the Visual Studio I have been using for the past 6 months on my Mac.

By Patrick McNamer on 7/16/2020

It doesn't have files to work with. I feel like I just got ripped off.

By Keith Rutledge on 7/8/2020

The working files did not download properly, and the software shown is old...
