Course Description

You love photography.

You share your photos with friends and they like it, but you want more.

Your photos deserve better than to collect dust on your hard drive!

Stop throwing money at your photography hobby, let it throw some back!

Learn how to make your expensive camera pay for itself, learn how to license your photos online.

There are many ways to earn money with your photography, but most of them include either boss or clients to deal with, or website to maintain and promote. Online licensing with agencies is different - you upload your photos and agencies do all the rest for you.

Depending on your dedication, this can be a fun little set-it-and-forget-it project to support your hobby, or it can be a full-time adventure that pays for all your bills.

The course is packed with actionable steps and activities - make sure you follow along and participate in the activities!

Forget the money for a second, though: imagine holding a book with your photo on the cover, imagine your friends texting you "just saw one of your photos in a magazine I'm reading!". The satisfaction is priceless.

Join this course and learn all I had to trial-and-error myself over seven years. Learn what CUQQ - the four pillars of success - stands for. Learn how to optimize your workflow to get the results with minimal effort.

Sample student reviews:

"I am a total beginner at this and I feel like I've already learned so much. It is a very practical course, filled with how-to's and do's and don'ts. Thanks so much for sharing this!"

"I thoroughly enjoyed this introduction, and I feel I have the tools needed to start selling my pictures online. The instructor is likable; he has a great sense of humor, and sets realistic expectations. He included some wonderful life lessons about dealing with feedback, and ways to spend one's earnings. [...] "

"The course is well organized and the material is very concise. I particularly like the use of actual screen shots to support the topic. After viewing and reading a good bit on getting into stock photography, this course was exactly what I needed to take the final step toward getting my photos online."

I'll see you in the course!

(And when I say "see you", I mean it - this is not one of those courses where a guy reads his PowerPoint slides to you. You'll see me demonstrating concepts and talking to you in each single video.)

Michal Durinik

Currently based in Sydney, Australia, I split my time between research, university teaching and photography.

On my way towards PhD in behavioral economics, bringing together Psychology and Economics.

I've been selling my photos online for 7 years now - starting this side gig was one of my best decisions. Ever since, my cameras and lenses pay for themselves, and for my flight tickets. I'm excited to share with you, how you can do the same!

I also love exploring new and exciting way of taking photos and am a big fan of DIY photography gear. Home-made pinholes, tilt-shift lenses, underwater photoshoot in the living room? You bet!

Fun facts:

- President of MQ Photography Society

- Lectured to hundreds of students and professionals on complex business, psychology and photography topics

- Helped hundreds of photographers sign up with agencies, build their portfolio, sell photos online and enjoy passive income from their photographs

- Best photography experience: northern lights in Iceland. It was so beautiful I almost forgot to press the shutter!

So far the content has fallen short for me and is not at all what I was hoping for.

Great course for a beginner. I knocked one star off because some of the info needs to be updated for 2021. For example picniche no longer exists. However, 90% of the course is still relevant and excellent info. I especially liked the Rejections and Software sections as well as the How to find your Photos. I would have liked to have more info about point and shoot and cell phone cameras in the Do I Need Expensive Cameras/Lenses section but still good to hear it's not necessary, especially when starting out. I look forward to submitting my first photos and will be referencing my notes from this course often. Lastly I enjoyed Michal's pace and organized approach.

I love this course! I would give it 10 stars if I could. Now this is the first Udemy course that I have taken, and so I can't compare this one to others. But I have taken a few other courses elsewhere. Many other courses say they will show you how to do things step-by-step, but in my opinion don't really. This one did. It was very basic. Without treating his students like idiots, his teaching is very basic. I really like that. He also deals with the human part of licensing your photos online. He talks about things such as dealing with your photos being rejected. And also about not getting discouraged when you are first starting out. That's not always dealt with in courses you can buy. It also doesn't hurt that the instructor is very nice...and not only answers all our questions, but encourages us to ask questions. I really think this course is great. Of course no one course can teach you absolutely everything you need to know about any subject, no matter what it is. But in my opinion this one is more complete than most.

The course was great. Michal will get you through the whole process by step by step instructions. After the course, you will have all the knowledge it takes to souccessfully license your photos. If I tried to search and collect all the information needed by myself, it would take me immense amount of time and a lot of trial and error. Here you have all the information packed in 4 hours' course. All you need to do is to take it and use it.

The "Section 5. Reviewer’s feedback" is not the expected part when I enrolled, but now it's my best favorite content in this course. Besides, the instructor (Michal) is the Yoda Master, energize and encourage me from the previously worst experiences with a stock agency (50% pass rate). After the course, I knew Michal loves to share and has enthusiasm to teach every tips and tools he used to batch processing "the business" in detail. I indeed regarded his experiences to seriously face "this kind of job/side-project" and would like to follow the instructions to keep learning, practice, and stay motivated! Thank you very much, Michal!

MICHAL DURINK TUTORIAL ..has offered me a substantial amount of knowledge , coupled with tools and important resources , which will not only make my life easier but more importantly will save me a lot of my time . I have been a photographer for many years now and always been a bit “ shy “ about putting my tens of thousands of photographs I own , but this course gave me the confidence to finally approached the process to deal with STOCK photography . I want , first , to congratulate Michal for sharing his advices , even if is getting paid for it – I don’t work for free either , and secondly to recommend this course to anybody that is looking into the process to upload your pictures into the world of STOCK photography . I highly recommend this course , especially for “ newbies “ like me . My only point of improvement to this course , perhaps , will be the inclusion of a step by step of taking a single photo trough the whole process..that is take the picture to Ligtroom , insert keywords , then open this , do that..ect…all the way to having the picture accepted by ShutterStock..this is only and idea as a project … other than that …all and all I find the course very good inded sooo ..well done Michal..!!

This is an excellent course with a great deal of practical information. I have used it successfully to register, upload, submit, and sell photographs. Yes, within one week of finishing the course, I had already sold several photographs! As I have added material, my sales have picked up, and come in quite regularly now. I have Michal to thank for this! One or two things I can add based on my own experience that are not covered in the course, but might be useful to you. I use Affinity Photo for processing my photos. I think it is very much superior to Lightroom, having nearly as much capability as Photoshop, at a fraction of the cost. However, it does no digital management, so I needed another piece of software to add keywords, titles, and captions. I use a Mac, and there is an app entitled ExifChanger that I have found to be quite useful for doing this. I don't recall what I paid for it, but it was very little. It is particularly easy to use to add the same keywords to multiple photos in one operation - something I find very useful, as I often have several photos on the same theme to submit at the same time. I don't know if it is available for PCs or not. Something else to be aware of is that you will get your inbox filled very quickly. Shutterstock and Dreamstime are particularly good at grouping your submittals and sending you one e-mail with the results of all of them. Adobe Stock, on the other hand, will report on each individually! I've gotten used to waking up to find over a hundred unread e-mails , all of them from Adobe Stock! Finally, be prepared for some weird feedback on your photos. I recently had the experience of receiving two e-mails from different agencies regarding the same photo, within a five-minute span: one rejecting the photo because it had no commercial value, and the other telling me that the same photo had sold (it is actually one of my top sellers)! Michal does discuss this, and what to do about it, but I have been surprised at how different the feedback is from agency to agency! Don't be afraid to resubmit, especially if the feedback you receive doesn't ring true for you!

Kudos to Michal on a job well done with this course. Michal's presentation was very well laid out, the information was up to date, and his delivery was with passion and a sense of inspiration. After the first few segments, I signed up with a few agencies and before I moved into the 2nd section of the course, I had already sold a photo. I just finished the course and have now sold 2 photos and though that doesn't seem like a lot, it has been very encouraging that anyone out there would purchase my pics. Amazing. Anyways, Thank you Michal for a job well done and the time and care you put into producing this course. Thank you.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. I had actually submitted two photos to a stock agency two years ago, and nothing was happening with them. I learned easier and better ways to keyword my photos (which I know was my biggest problem), easy ways to upload your files, and which agencies to use. Michal was very knowledgeable and he broke everything down into simple steps, and I enjoyed his sense of humor. I really liked how he gave homework after each lesson. Though I haven't made any money yet (it's only been 2 days!), I'm getting a thrill out of seeing which agency accepts my images and which agency rejects them, as well as if there have been any views yet. (Two images have been viewed! Yippee!) I cannot rave enough about how much I enjoyed this course. If you are looking to submit your photos to stock agencies, this course is DEFINITELY for you! Thank you Michal for an awesome course!

The course is well organized and the material is very concise. I particularly like the use of actual screen shots to support the topic. After viewing and reading a good bit on getting into stock photography, this course was exactly what I needed to take the final step toward getting my photos online. I followed Michal's directions and have photos on all five sites mentioned. Before the second week was over, I had 2 images sold. Great course and excellent presenter - clear, direct, and well-organized!
