LPI Security Essentials (020-100) Complete Course (Udemy.com)

Jason Dion Training's LPI Security Essentials (020-10) course provided exactly what I was looking for from them: re-hashing what I knew, but in a more objective style format. I already possess the knowledge required of this exam having passed the CompTIA Net+, CompTIA Security+, and LPI Linux Essentials, but wanted to hone in and see what I needed to focus on to pass the exam. Utilized core videos and the practice exam to get an idea of what to expect. Felt very confident on exam day, and all in all, a pass was achieved. Keep up the great work!

This course gives all necessary information for preparation for the exam. It was easy to understand.

Instrusctors seems have good intention of education people throuh the platform, and they have made sure that they simplify everything so as to be understood easly.

I heard about many different programs and means of studying for computer certifications -- ITProTV, Prof. Messer, and other Udemy courses. Since my first A+ cert, I have studied with Dion Training. I am now preparing for my seventh certification after passing the A+, Network+, Security+, Linux+, LPIC-1, Linux Essentials, and now, the LPI Security Essentials. The ONLY cert that I have NOT used Dion Training for was the LPIC-1 (because Dion Training doesn't offer a course in it.). Dion Training's preparation courses and exam prep test packs have been instrumental in my development as an IT professional. I HIGHLY recommend the courses offered at both Udemy and www.diontraining.com for ANYONE seeking to develop their IT skills.

The checkpoint quizzes at each section's end need more questions. Three questions are not enough; maybe ten questions will deepen understanding.

5 stars for Dion for always delivering. And if you havn't taken A+ then someone could learn from this. But if I could separate the instructors from the creators, big shame on LPI for deceptively creating "LINUX security" when the course is just GENERAL best practice theory. BTW I was very satisfied with how much CLI action and all the Linux lingo that was taught in LPI's Linux essentials, but after skimming through the course topics and study guide, I seem to find NOTHING about Linux specifically in this course except one john the ripper demo and the rest seems to be just repeat material from A+. You'd think we'd learn specifically on a Linux CLI how to cron job AV scans, maybe a security audit tool, how to close a port, kill a suspected malicious process, set limited login attempts... nothing. I watched section 1, and 5/9 videos of section 2 videos, then took the practice exam and got an 82% and all I know how to do in Linux is basically from LPI's essentials course. If you took A+ already, this is not going to teach you anything new

The course delivered on my expectations. The instructors are knowledgeable on the subject matters and they provide detailed explanations on course content.
