Course Description
By the end of this course you will be able to make your very own pressure sensor, which you can use to measure air pressure. This is a practical course and will enable you to learn through building your own pressure sensor. It will cover each component of the sensor in detail at the same time the theory you need to understand to gain a good level of understanding of electronics will be expanded upon. Concepts such as how Wheatstone bridges work, Instrumentation amplifiers, Clipping, programming the Arduino, using the Liquid Crystal library and analog to digital conversion.
Equations are commonly used to describe relationships between electronic parameters such as resistance, current and voltage.Throughout the course explanations of the theory of electronics will be cemented through Mathematics. The course will cover how these equations are derived and the uses of the equations in the creation of your circuits. Furthermore, the course covers programming the Arduino micro-controller and gives you useful coding tools which you can use in your own projects.
Who this course is for:
- All
- Anyone interested in electronics and interested in building thier own devices/Circuits
- Hobbyists
