I'm updating an app from BS 4 to BS 5. Customizing is done a different way in BS 5. There's not a lot of information on how to do this in blogs or YouTube videos. I was very pleased to find this course which covers this. Thank you. Overall the course is excellent.

The introduction of the course was at times a bit confusing using terms and concepts that hadn't been introduced. That said, the content of the course is a sectional walkthrough of components step by step, it's probably more like a detailed walkthrough of the reference with good examples more than it's teaching, which is a great tool, but it does get kind of tedious seeing how different elements (for each element) can be made in small, normal and large sizes. ;-) The downloadable learning material and the lessons are extremely good at displaying what Bootstrap really does. I plan to use that as my go-to tool for finding the right Bootstrap tool for the job. What I haven't seen at this time is lessons as to how to think bootstrap, but I expect that might be available in the case lessons at the end (that I haven't gotten to yet)

This is one of the best and most practical Bootstrap 5 tutorial on Udemy. I enjoyed learning from Jeppe Schaumburg Jensen. Even though you need to be more creative in "tweaking" some parts of Bootstrap 5 "rules" you will find it useful and helpful partly due to his practical kits that he provided for us. The kit can be a practical reference every time you need to come up with some "template". There is one part which I need to be updated: SaSS one even though you can find many resources on the net. Thank you Jeppe. Keep up the good work!

The beginning of the course is an overview of pretty much everything you can see on the bootstrap website. Would have liked a better explanation of some things, philosophy of classes / JavaScript. The customization needs to be redone as the SASS compiler was deprecated; to the point my corporate firewall blocked the site. I struggled a bit getting that part setup using Live Sass Compiler, but eventually did make my way through the section. The projects gave me a much better understanding of how to put things together.

I have partially combined the coded projects (portfolio and CV lend themselves very well) and further developed and individualized the pages myself, as a junior digital media designer this helps enormously, as I code with the other developers on a project-by-project basis. I think this is one of the best courses for Bootstrap 5 here on Udemy.

Not interactive, the resources are very very powerful, especially the kit, but the teaching way is not good and just going over the kit and doing it at a very fast pace is not what I expected, and not teaching how bs works and more about it, apart from that the kit is very useful that provides all combinations.

The course overall is good, it covers most if not all of the subject. However, I have to point out some things that could be done better: - the instructor goes way too fast through sections, like he is in a hurry to finish as fast as possible. - I don't really like the format of the course. A kind of worksheet is provided at the start, then all the rest of the course the instructor just retypes what is already written in there, sometimes without proper explanations. It gives you the feeling you are listening to a video-book instead of a teacher explaining a subject.

Course is an in depth look at Bootstrap CSS. The reference material is excellent (by itself worth the price of the course). The only real problem is that the course only deals with the CSS. The javascript part of Bootstrap is not discussed. Unfortunately this leaves you hanging when it comes to "connecting" bootstrap to you code.

I really like the way the course is being taught. I loved the idea of the learning kit since i just need to give a quick look whenever i need to confirm something im not sure about. The way the teacher teachs is straight and i like it since we are not here to lose time. I wrote jeppe for help and I receive a response so so fast. I really recommend it.

This is a good course that covers all elements of Bootstrap 5. I'd say that overall, the course is basically like reading through all of the Bootstrap 5 docs yourself, but in video form. Since that's essentially what I was looking for, that was alright for me. :) Make sure to pay attention to the popups for any note on changes in Bootstrap 5 classes for which the videos have not yet been updated. In my case, I had to be sure to catch any of the times he uses the data tags since they now have "bs" (bootstrap) added in them, i.e. data-toggle is now data-bs-toggle. The popups do describe this though, and videos will eventually be updated, so it is not a problem.

I am becoming acclimated to his speech and I don't have to pause and/or back-up as much as I had been. He, IMHO still needs to slow his pace down when he jumps from one place in the code to another. Slowing the transport won't exactly remedy that. I am liking this language, and I can see why someone would want or need to be fairly versed in CSS, HTML, and other structured disciplines. Jeppe, all in all, a good instructor. Now back to work!
