Master English Grammar - Advanced Level (Udemy.com)

The main weak point of the course for me is that general basic grammar structure is often not said at all, I know it’s not that kind of course but I think it should have made it easier to understand and remember for example tenses ( ex: past perfect is subj+ had + verb ). Anyway most of the lessons are easy to follow but sometimes I have to use other stuff online to get the point.

I’m really impressed with how Dave teaches English grammar. He has a great way of making tricky topics feel simple. Things I used to find confusing now make sense, and that’s all thanks to how clearly he explains everything. You can tell he genuinely enjoys teaching, and that makes learning with him a pleasure. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking to improve their English.

This course is not only comprehensive and informative but also enjoyable and interesting. Although it is designed for students learning English as an additional language, it is also helpful for native English speakers (like myself) wishing to improve their grammar. The instructor is passionate about the topic, and his enthusiasm is contagious. This is the second of his courses I have completed, and I look forward to taking additional classes from this teacher. I am now interested in grammar for the joy of learning and not just for the possibility of career advancement (which was my original motivation for studying grammar). I finished this course a couple days ago and it helped me sooo much. You can find every topic on this course, well explained and very detailed. And mini tests after almost every video are very helpful. Recently, Mr. Nicholls has uploaded a free book and i am looking forward to using this book. Thank you, Mr. Nicholls for this amazing course. I will also buy the vocabulary course after i complete another course of yours, the phrasal verbs. And for anyone who isn't sure about buying this course or not just go for it, you won't be disapointed.

This is great!! I really do appreciate Dave's teaching method of repetition as it helps cement the grammar into one's memory. I particularly found the detail of his explanations in the 'Articles' excercises in Section 16: Videos 61 to 67 very helpful and the exposure to the classics of Dickens, Greene and Hardy quite enlightening, having never been exposed to the classics before.

I wanted to thank Dave for this amazing course. After many years of feeling frustration for not being able to surpass that intermediate threshold, this course contains everything you need to excel in an English-speaking job. I have been involved in learning grammar for a long time, but with my upcoming CPE exam, I searched for a structured course that goes into more depth so I could revise all I have learned. This course provides that, and therefore I will recommend it when preparing for an exam. Besides that, it is a refreshment to be taught as if you are native with no avoidance of vocabulary that might be too difficult. At last, I want to mention that it is a teacher with a passion for his work. He is devoted to teaching, which can be seen and heard during the lectures.
