Master Reporting Automation with Google Sheets (Udemy.com)

The course looks interesting, and at the same time, a bit intimidating. I'm liking the base, but coming from a Marketing/Communications background, I think I will need to practice the concepts more than once.

I don't really recommend this course. Better save the money for another course. Thanks to the instructor for the effort made. However, some metrics are wrongly calculated + results are not always correct + she talks too fast + explanation is not clear and lucks proficiency.

This course is mostly about Index & Match formulas. It has very little to do with reporting automation or business modeling or forecasts. And I found her approach often overcomplicating to make up for the fact that there are no real reporting automation techniques taught in the class. Just mostly use index & match to calculate dates and find metrics from other sheets. If you haven't done any weekly/monthly reporting on a project or don't know Index&Match, Countifs, or Indirect & Address, you will learn something. Otherwise, it's a waste of time.

The course does a fantastic job of presenting information in a clear, professional format that's easy to follow. One technique I've been able to apply immediately is automating some of our regular reports. However, I would appreciate it more if she could have spent less time on the introduction.

I've taken several courses on Udemy, some of which were fantastic, but this is the first course (I believe) that is so good that I feel compelled to leave a review. I'm a web developer with interest in Google Workspace automation. I've always preferred to do all the automation in Apps Script, but some of my clients asked for solutions using Google formulas. This course is excellent in going super-deep and hands-on on automating reporting. The instructor clearly has deep industry experience in not only the technical aspects of automating reports that business executives consume, but also in how to handle a spreadsheet effectively and efficiently. So it's not just about mastering the formulas but also about how to operate the spreadsheet and its data. I recommend this course wholeheartedly.

This is one of the extra-ordinary courses I have ever undergone at Udemy. The instructor is purely straight to the point and makes it very easier to understand. So far I completed almost 25% of it and "use of dollar sign" "IFERROR" , "INDEX and MATCH", "TRANSPOSE", "IMPORTRANGE' are great learnings and life savings. Thanks to the instructor for putting such effort. I highly recommend this course for those who want to get the most out of google spreadsheet.

As someone who has experience with Index/Match formulas, this was a great refresher without being too remedial and seeing the formula effects in Google Sheets. Thank you so much for putting this together, really enjoyed the class and top notch instruction/examples.

Seems to very good course to learn new complex formulas. I like course build up which is great (learning formulas, then consolidate with different dashboards tasks) But! lecturer speaks and showing task too fast (can't really process everything and also I have to pause video many times to process again.

The course is FANTASTIC! First, it is clear that Mariel knows the topic. She is a real professional and it becomes clear as we progress in the course. I have used excel for 21 years. I am still a heavy user. However I was made aware recently of the great use of query funciton within Google Sheets a while ago and started to understand the power of Google Sheets. This course may not be perfect for beginners, however, for intermidate and advanced users, it is FANTASTIC. Thanks Mariel for the amazing course. I have been using excel for a long time but never really used Google sheet simply because I have been overlooking and underming Google sheet. This lecture has opened my eyes on what I have been missing and what I could do with Google sheet. Thank you, Mariel!
