Amazing SAML 2.0 in depth course, with deatailed knowledge and labs provided in affordable way. Everything is up to date in 2025, well explained. I like this course because it is well structured and clear to follow. I enjoy doing the QA as well. Usually, the instructor responds to questions very promptly. One hint for future students: ideally, you need to have 2 business emails, work/school/organization email to sign up for 2 Okta accounts for this class. Nowadays, if you try to sign up using Gmail, it will redirect you to a sign up page that asks for a business email. If not, you can try to sign up for 2 Github accounts to open 2 Okta accounts.

This course, like all Viraj courses, is very well explained, very well organized and very easy to understand. It enabled me to understand all the SAML concepts quickly and easily. Viraj also managed to make the cryptography part very easy to understand. I highly recommend this course as well as other courses by this author. It's a good investment.

It is a good course, I had learnt many new things. SAML to SAML SSO is good and very informative. Also, I was expecting some cross IDPs examples. Like: SAML to OIDC. I hope you will create a course on it also. Thanks.

Viraj has covered the fundamentals with easy (not exactly easy to be honest, given the vastness of domain and ever changing tech) to follow examples covering every minute details. I am very much impressed with his depth of knowledge and ability to teach such complex subject with ease. I have learned a great deal especially always wanted to try bare-metal way of constructing SAML requests and executing them and thanks to Viraj (and his great teaching style) that I could learn it. Despite not being very related to topic exactly, Viraj resolved my queries very promptly. Great course, great tutor and a good reference for long time - all thanks to Viraj! It will be a very good experience for first time learners. I was not much interested in how to setup the OKTA and all. I was mostly concerned on how to use the IDP. So giving 3.5. But it was a very good course. Without understanding how to setup OKTA, it is hard. So it is a good course. May be in future you can do a course that shows what happens in real life enterprises and how the real world operates. Thank you.

HI Viraj, Thanks for the wonderful course. I have couple of the questions, now I am putting the first one. As you prepared the SAML request while testing but if you go to the Okta application, there is a section called App Embed link and it gives the URL to use outside of Okta. I used the same link and getting back the SAML response in SAML. I wanted to check if I can use the same rather than preparing the request for the testing

Concepts were clearly explained, starting with a solid foundation on the architectures of authentication, then proceeding using applicable labs which required modifying files on my own machine and working with available online tools (Okta, samltool, etc.). Because the original recordings were done about a year ago, some changes to online tools have been made but were easy to figure out by rewatching the videos and exploring the online tools a little. Instructor spoke clearly, was easy to understand, and provided many examples, use cases, and variations to the data to prove they had a solid understanding of the topic. Instruction was provided in a way which showcased instructors knowledge and experience put into designing and presenting this course; it was not just being taught verbatim from an instruction manual. Excellent course. Challenging labs for someone as inexperienced but completable with perseverance and personal research for missing knowledge gaps. I would recommend this course to others.

I had to do a SSO imlementation on a legacy system at work. This course gave me an AWESOME understading on how SAML 2.0 works, and what I had to do in order to accomplish the task that I've been given. Viraj, thank you very much, you did a great job in here! 100% recommended
