Mastering Crystal Reports 2013 Made Easy Training Tutorial (Udemy.com)

Going great so far! I like how they're presenting the material covering all the details... even those that might seem to be the most minor in importance.

High marks for thoroughness and clarity. I knocked down a mark because the instructor sometimes over-explains features that most people are familiar with. The course gets boring and dull at times and it could benefit from occasionally telling viewers that if they're familiar with common features available elsewhere, they might want to skip ahead. I really do NOT need an explanation of fonts, basic text formatting, saving files, or printing.

The teacher is clear and explains so far everything in good detail and shows it clearly in the video. I do miss excercises but havent gotten to the end yet.

the explantions are basic but over use of words to describe the tasks itself are excessive - ive never heard someone say dialog box so many times in an explantion. there is no manual or download workbook the examples arent show just explained - visual example is ideal.

Very structured, broken down into small sections with good detail. Definitely like the detail and the visual displays of different actions within the active program.

Great overview of Crystal Reports functionality. Some extra detail not necessary (e.g. looking at loading each different format), but worth the time.

Good: 2 PDF at the end are transcript of the explanation. Bad: - The teacher just read the transcript word by word, so it's boring and hard to get the main points of each lesson. He should have used Power Point to hi-light main points. - We need explanation, not reading the transcript faithfully word by word in a steady speed (though he gives 2 very good PDF at the end which he uses for reading) . It's like he is purely reading and not explaning at all! He should illustrate his explanation by more example

The first half is pretty basic stuff (for me), but I've managed to learn more about linking tables than I have in hands-on workshops. I also like the fact that the related PDF is pretty much an exact transcript of the videos, so when I get lost I don't have to keep rewinding the video.

Instructor's pronunciation and voice is clear and easy to understand. I am a systems accountant for the federal government and it is one of our financial management tools. Of course we have a shake and bake tutorial but I am way ahead of the other accountants by taking this course.

I'm not sure I will ever use 90% of these connections but it's good to have a reference to listen to. That said the course provides a lot of basic information about Crystal Reports that is really needed just to use it. It's a great way to get started.
