Very interesting life advice, it feels like a genuine attempt from the instructor at trying to transmit why the structure and concepts in this course have improved his personal and professional life. Even though it is not so necessary, I would suggest taking the PARA method and the Zettelkasten method courses from the same instructor before taking this one, since some of the configuration presented in here assumes you've watched their previous courses. By itself, it is a pretty good course, I feel confident and excited in implementing what I've been taught, and I will surely come back to remind myself on what to do when the time comes.

It is a system that will definitely help in creating results with discipline on our part. I just wished that the whole obsidian setup was also shown with this class and not just how to make use of it. The portion of creating directories and templates and why we create them was missing in this class. It just started out with here is my version. I do not know obsidian I will have to learn that before i can use this system. But apart from that this is a neat small control system and with some daily /weekly/monthly/yearly discipline, we can achieve wonderful results if we know what we exactly want in life. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Mischa van den Burg is an invaluable resource on Udemy. His courses are presented very clearly and with impressive preparation. The knowledge gained about goal setting (and Obsidian in general) far outsurpasses most other resources. Probably a hundred hours of research and experimentation for yourself are condensed into a mere 1.5 hours.

This was a great course about how to set goals intentionally and how to actually create a system to reach your goals. I think often times I have big goals, but feel stressed and overwhelmed on how to get there. I think this system helps to breakdown those goals and give you concrete steps to move forward.

For me personally, the content of just the first two videos alone made the course worth the price. The course is clearly structured and builds logically from one topic to the next. The only “drawback” is the sheer amount of knowledge and experience on goal setting that is packed into it. The short videos are so dense with information that I have to watch them several times to really absorb and implement the concepts for myself. On the other hand, they are concise and to the point, so it’s easy to quickly review them whenever needed. In my opinion, this is an extremely good investment!

I need to first say that I make it a point to never allow myself to review a course on Udemy this early because it's oftentimes not going to be fair to the instructor. With that being said, this instructor gets five stars right off the bat because he is keeping things real from the start. No esoteric nonsense, but real things that can be put in place to make you better at setting goals. If I only got through the first two videos, I would still be better off than where I was, which was thinking that the goal was the outcome instead of the work being the goal. Bravo!

Amazing advices, thank you so much for this course. It really helped me to understand how to do journaling, planing and project management in a way that really works. Iv'e been on my own journey with productivity systems for a while now, and all the "automatic" systems that pull data, display it in dashboards and all that failed me time and time again. They take away the mindfulness and intention out of planing and task management. But this system makes you really think on your plans and projects. I wish this was a school discipline.

Goal Setting Theory is my favorite section and was an important paradigm shift. The Obsidian implementation sections move a little too fast for my taste, as it jumps quickly through the technical aspects of setting up templates and creating notes. I would have liked more birds-eye-view explanations of how the systems link together BEFORE the technical implementation walkthrough, as much of Section 4 was rote setup lessons before returning to theory again at the end.

Mischa is very good at getting to the point and providing meaningful examples that clarify his advice. I'm already practicing a form of this system, but I'm very thankful to now have a version of it that can be housed neatly in Obsidian. I believe this course will help anyone that wishes to establish a solid foundation for awareness practice. If you feel stuck in a pleasure seeking loop that distracts you from your desired outcomes - this is the system / practice is for you.
