Today I have reached the end of this course and, as I had anticipated in a previous mid-course review, I can confirm that it was definitely worth the purchase. The course provides the perfect balance between theory and exercises to learn the basics of Matlab programming and the software main and additional functionalities. The teacher speaks slowly and clearly, so his English is perfectly understandable (though I left subtitles on to make sure I was not missing anything). Also, the teacher explains in a very clear and efficient way, he knows exactly how to communicate and how to transfer his knowledge to students. Not by chance, he possesses a strong background in neuroscience and years of experience in teaching. His expertise in Matlab is clearly enormous; that makes me confident that Ive learnt the basics of programming from the right person. I also appreciated the increasing difficulty of the lessons and the duration of the course, since 10.5 hours is not too long. I advise any student interested in following this course to take lots of notes on a separate word file, especially if, like me, its their first time dealing with programming. I will consider to buy Master Python programming by solving scientific projects next.

This is one of the most basic yet practical courses on Udemy. Thanks to the pace, I was able to practice a lot. I was also able to experiment on the code and visualization to see effects of various code changes.
I had very less number of questions (may be negative side so far). The visualization part was little more difficult. I think I need to practice more on this part. I wish the pace for visualization was little slower.
I guess I will need to look at practical courses on matlab (Like signal processing, fourier transforms, DCT) to get a better and practical understanding. I can see these courses already from the author. Hopefully, I can join soon. The author said "focus and not multi-task, so I will practice stuff taught here and then look at the other courses.

The course is really good. Well structured. Beginning from basic and takes you to a good level. Enough exercises to make your concepts clear. I would suggest you take it, course is really amazing. Covers not only MATLAB but also how to be a good coder. The instructor is nice, he teaches well, clears all kinds of doubts, responds quickly. I recommend this course.
