The course was a fair deal for me in terms of price and content. I have learned the basic structure of MERN Stack with React and it's features, Express and it's features, CRUD operations, tokenization, cookies. It was almost a perfect match only exception with some syntax and concepts that was hard to understand. Overall, the course is a very good match for me. Thank You.

I decided to wait this classses untill events day. Beacuse this lecture slightly expensive. But I can`t wait event day So I bet to almost 100USD for this lecture The Betting was very nice choice. This lecture is very good for intermeidate and descript all core concept of MERN very clear and simply (login Auth, CRUD ) 100USD never expensive Betting choice. Thank you teacher. P.S. But I hope him to teach React router dom v6 , and React18 and update.

good depth without overwhelming with details. fun accent! very important for an internet teacher :) however, since the course was made in 2021 there are a few problems with slightly outdated tech (react-dom-router, sass), which can easily be learned and overcome if you've got a little grit, or just install the exact version of everything that Joost uses.

Love the course. I hated that other courses would take 10 hours, just to get to the backend and not even use hooks. This course was quick and concise. Love that he gave us some good practices we should follow and best of all, I actually uploaded the web app. I knew about Netlify, but learning about Heroku is amazing, and can't wait to practice on my own. Before this, I used localStorage as my database, since I didn't know how to deploy a backend online. What really makes this course five stars is we got to use scss. I got tired of other course just pasting the 'css/scss' file or using Bootstrap. Nothing wrong with Bootstrap, but I want to make my own customized Website with my own styles.

The course difficulty level is appropriately assigned. While the content isn't suitable for beginners, his explanations are properly concise, yet informative for anyone with previous backend experience, any intermediate or any dev professional regardless of specific stack knowledge. I especially appreciate how the course was started. We jumped right into code with useful information that helps the development process run smoothly. I wasn't taught these things in beginner level courses, but used them. It's nice to finally prepare stronger confidence to build or use what I use every day, but with less wonder and more convenience.

Good but a little disappointed. I purchased this course mainly because I wanted to see the methods he used to finish and deploy his youtube auth course. That part is great but he left out the part of how to whitelist heroku in MongoDB without having to set 0.0.0.0/0, and it seems a few people have asked in the comments too but no answers. So, I thought I was purchasing something that would show me the whole full stack process, which it did pretty well I guess, but if I understand correctly, a pretty crucial part was left out.

Instructor is clear and thorough yet concise. The instructor seems knowledgeable and committed. The project and the way the lectures are implemented are engaging and interesting. This is also the kind of course that constitutes both a tutorial and a reference for looking things up afterwards. Highly appreciated and recommended course!

While I would not consider this course a "beginner" course, I would call it an amazing intermediate to advanced course for server backend and frontend/backend security setup. The react app created in this course may seem simple, but process of actually getting it to work correctly with proper databases, user login/logout functionality and cookie/token setup is definitely not simple. Joost does an amazing job walking us through this entire process from beginning to end with a working app that can be expanded on or even give ideas for creating something similar. I highly recommend this course if you want to actually learn how to finish a working app production app. Joost leaves no stone unturned. Really enjoyed the course and the patience of the instructor.

I loved the content and the way the instructor explains things. GREAT tutorial, only downside is the small font and little lower video quality which makes the viewing code little harder, but all of this is unimportant when you see what knowledge you get out of this course.

He moves at a fast pace, but he explains everything very well. Just be sure you are focusing, because I zoned out a few times due to how fast he moves and missed valuable information that caused me to become confused (my fault). I rewatched certain parts that I zoned out on and realized I had missed some "small" but very important pieces of information that made everything MUCH more clear. Moral of story: PAY ATTENTION TO EVERYTHING. He does a great job of explaining and packs a ton of valuable knowledge in such a short time. Learned a lot, thank you!
