Great course! Very comprehensive and simple. Although, for a novice as myself, I struggled at times trying to see where the instructor was clicking at times. Sometimes he was clicking in areas not visible on screen. I am one that needs to see every single step, so I could follow the instructor. Over all, I recommend this course. He does speak slowly. Good for me.

Hi Warren! First of all, thanks for everything. The content of the course is a little short for me. I expected that there would always be quizzes during the lesson. But I am sure that you teach the important subjects in excel. Excel is not that complicated anyway. I listened to the lessons by applying and taking notes myself, it was very useful. I think it would be nice if there were a few more quizzes or exams that I could test myself (like writing all other formulas rather than terminology, or using large datasets (by downloading) and use vlookup and comparing my results with your results etc). So far this course has touched on what I already know about Excel, however, I am also learning a couple of little tricks I did not already know. Specifically the fact you need to type "1" and "2" for the other cells to auto-generate the next set of numbers. I also really enjoyed learning about Vlookup.

It was a great course. However, now I am struggling with one thing regarding the VLOOKUP function that was not touched in the course. During demonstration of the command, you have used exact same list of names (teachers) to extract their occupation and ages. However, we might need certain names out of the list (for example: only 3 teachers). In this case, the command does not work - it does not show the occupations correctly. Thank you!

I learned the basics of Excel through this course. It does not go very in depth into what the program can do and is more of a course geared towards absolute beginners. Would recommend for someone who wants to learn the basics of Excel along with a few functions.

There is only 1 hour of content which covers a very basic level of Excel. Therefore, it's safe to say that it's far from providing "Get All You Need To Know And Do!" motto. While there are courses with 10-15 hours of content with roughly the same price I definitely don't recommend paying for this course with 1 hour of content. On the other hand, If you got the course for free when it was available, it might serve as a nice little start for a complete beginner.

This course is so basic for a complete beginner to get a solid stand to start a more advanced techniques, great teacher, valuable content, need a little bit of exercises to practice and solidify the knowledge with more efficiency. i would have given 5 stars if the content was more extended and covered widely the topic with more exercises. Again, for beginners it's the right place to start with, so simple not too long and very precise. Thank you Warren!

Hay acciones que realiza el profesor que pueden dar una comprensión errónea, por ejemplo cuando hace el pegado con comandos, dice "comand v", los que usen un ordenador Mac seguramente lo entiendan, pero el resto de usuarios puede que no lo sepan. Observar las acciones que realiza con las manos tanto en el teclado como en el ratón ayudaría a la comprensión.

This course is a good way to begin to learn excel for beginners as it introduces some of the easiest, but most common features of it. It gets your confidence up to be able to be able to take excel further and learn more. It was really helpful to have downloadable practice sheets to work with. Warren explains the steps clearly and the lectures are long enough, and in enough detail, without being overwhelming for beginners. I liked that the lectures were not long and drawn out.
