Rhather than listening what FX channels are in the session I'd like to hear why each of them is there.

Loving the deetail we are going in too . Frustrating to get the same sound out of cubase , the cubase VSTs definitely have a different sonic value but it forces me to think and not just copy the course.
Thanks, even as a "pro" i am still learning allot.

Das ist sehr oberflchlich und entspricht nicht den erwartungen die es in der beschreibung weckt. ich bin erfahren und das ist nichtssagend bzw. bringend. das kann man sich auch kostenlos bei youtube beibringen.

I'vI've really enjoyed this course; it helped me with my knowledge , but also with building a basic template that I can now use going forward.

While Ian is clearly a very skilled engineer, I felt this course was far too specific to the song he was mixing.
There was a lot of going over what he had done in the mix, but not enough of the "why", and very rarely did he give more general examples of how you could use a technique when mixing a different song.
I think it would have helped if the song hadn't already been mixed in advance, and instead Ian had filmed his actual mixing process, explaining his process as he went though.
I gave two stars as there were definitely some good nuggets of information in there, but over all I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this course.

I literally took notes on everything. I watched the videos, took notes and then went to the project and from what I wrote down I mixed the song. I really learned so much more from this class than any other class or my audio engineering courses. It was like an in-depth look into Ian Sutton's mind rather than a mixing class. How he perceives a mix and how it should sound. It gave me an understanding of more than I could ever have learned scrubbing through youtube videos, which I love doing, and reading books, love doing as well. This is by far out of my 17 years of work and love in the recording and mixing business the most informative information I've ever had. Of course without understanding the basics and how to use your tools this class would not be much help. If you have a firm or even just a basic understanding of how to use your tools and sends/auxs then this class will take you far. I am so glad I took this course. Its very intense and lots of information is jam packed. I wrote down almost everything he commented on. There is a vocal trick he uses with the tracks and also with the bass that I have heard about or have heard hinted about but I've never seen it gone into much depth or detail until I saw this course. It really brought out the understanding of how to get the cleanest sounding vocals without them getting washed out with reverb and other fx but still having all those fx stand out so powerfully without sounding amatuer, basically like something Adele or Rhianna would have on their vocals. This is a game-changer and so much can be said that can't be typed here in one night. Thanks Ian Sutton you have saved me from my mental worry questions of not knowing what to do next in a mix to fix the issues I was having. The questions I had have been answered and now I'm on to just finding more darn questions and other answers to those, but these new questions are going to be subtler than the ones you helped me finally get answered. Thank you!

Thanks so much for this course Ian. This is definitely what I was looking for. This course takes you into the depths of how professional mixes are done. I would highly recommend this course to take your mixing skills to the next level.
This course was neither too simple nor too complex for me. It helped apply my knowledge to actual mixes and showed me how the professionals do it.
Thanks again
