The modeling methodology is explained very well, I got more out of it than I expected. There are some typo's in there, and even in 1 of the SQL examples with a join to a PIT-table, but anyone who knows data modeling and SQL would understand what is meant.

I highly recommend this course to learn about Data Vault 2.0 architecture with examples. At the same time, I would request the author to add some videos on practical uses of this new architecture (and when we should not use traditional methods - 3NP, top down and bottom up) and advantages and disadvantages of this architecture as this has been covered in bits and pieces all over the course.

The content is current and what Esra touched on were current topics contained in numerous DV blogs and articles, thus allowing me to understand with ease. The course was backed with very useful references.

This course explained what I needed, to understand the details behind the concept of Data Vault. I have brad experience with 3NF and dimensional data model, but was new in data vault. Many thanks. Well done!.

Hi Esra, I can say it's one of the best training I ever took in Udemy. I learned a lot, and thanks for everything. I look forward to implementing some data vault models :). Please provide more training on Data Engineering principles. Cheers

very good lecture gives a overview and benchmark of all approaches of data modeling, and also very good animated and documented. the structural part of the course is very good, strating from basics to the more difficult. I think for a bigenner and intermediate level is good enough to know all about DV2. the spoking languige is very clear.

Fundamentals are covered in good detail. No complaints about the content. It was the exact stuff, I was looking for. There are few typos or usage of false technical words here and there, but I guess it is normal to make such mistakes, when one comes to prepare a course. Responsiveness in Q&A section can be better. All in all, Thank you Esra for such a wonderful course.

It was a good match. I learned a lot, but I could not complete the whole thing at one time. I had started back in November, but things kept coming up that required my attention. I did finally complete it and plan on using it soon.

Fantastic course, well-prepared and sliced in proper sections and topics. Follows a red-line all the time until the end. You can get with this course an overall overview and then can easily dive deeper into the details. Used this course as preparation, before I read more details on each topic within the „Building a scaleable data warehouse with data vault 2.0“ book. So, thank you Esra for this well-prepared course! And for all negative feedback about her pronunciation: Come on, really?! I think those ones never have been worked within a international IT-project or international company where different accents are quite usual. So it‘s up to YOURSELF to learn sharpen your ears and concentrate on the content what she says and not how she say something. So Esra, don't apologize yourself for your accent and that you‘re not a native speaker. Ignore those bad comments ;-)

Course content is really good and well organised. The slides and explanation are pretty good as well. And it's would be better if the presenter could improve the pronunciation and control the speaking speed in some sections, especially for some key words and concepts. Examples are easy to understand, and more detailed examples could be added for some parts such as the 'Link Detail' and 'Non-Historized (Transaction) Link' in Section 4. To summarize, it is a good course and worth studying.
