Natural Language Processing (NLP) with BERT (Udemy.com)

I really enjoy the format of these courses as I get the skeleton of the collab and the data I will work on, and I can focus on learning the actual intuition and the implementation

I was excited when I came across this from Hadelin de Ponteves. He is one of my favorites I look forward to in AI. I expected the dataset anad the problem to be explained in detail, the prediction we are making and also the output as predictions after we run the BERT model. Maybe this is a free course its not covered.

Font was too small to read. When I used a large monitor, the video resolution is poor to read the text. Hence only 4/5 stars. Otherwise, the content is very good. It is practical, aided by good explanation.

I tried Bert on my local CPU: I had to reboot 4 times. I finally gave up on Bert and Distilbert. The standard 3 dense layer (binary_crossentropy) got me to 88% accuracy with a lot less headache. I guess that I'll try this on CoLab. Maybe. Hadelin could mention the learning rate plot.

To be honest, when I purchased the machine learning course I never thought it would include different introductory courses about the various implementation of machine learning. This course was simple and brief. Still, it opened my eyes to a big challenging field full of opportunities. I like it!

As a free Udemy course, it is understandable that the content is limited. However, time should have been made for even just a bit of theory. On top of that, nothing was done with the trained model at the end. It would have been nice to see it put to use to predict new data. Nonetheless, the creators should be thanked for making the effort to deliver free knowledge.

Easy to folow step but not very clear as to why some steps are being done. perhsaps mroe suited to someone with more previous experience in programming. i am a beginner to i could follow instructions ok but couldnt apply to a different scenario than the one provided.

Hadelin de Ponteves is an excellent instructor. I understand this is an introductory course, but it still had many technical parts to it which made it more interesting. I can't wait to take more courses from him.

Thank you for offering the NLP with BERT model course free. I think the visualization of this data model would be interesting to watch too or even a word tag cloud. I am sure R has a similar version of the Ktrain library also. Keep up the great work Hadelin. Merci bien. Ajit

This is awesome course and the best part, it's free. One suggestion to authors of this course: Please create another free course just to explain the important concepts in BERT algorithm, it's uses and the best practices. This I am suggesting because I know UDEMY has a limitation on hours (which is 2) for free course and this tutorial could not cover these points. Thanks.
