Next.js - Build Full Stack Apps with Next.js & TypeScript (Udemy.com)

I haven't seen a sample project this amazing in any of the courses I have ever looked at before. I have over 70 courses (not all software dev related), and I try to gauge what will be a likely good course. I have never seen one this thorough. You cover topics that nobody else does, or if they do, they only skim the top. I look forward to diving deep into this course as I can already think of 3 projects that I want to implement using pretty much everything you've just covered in the sample app preview!!!!!!!!!! thank you, in advance, for one of the most exciting software development courses I have ever seen. I am sure others will agree with my comment!

I have to say it's not a good match if you are looking for a course to learn TypeScript and React as well. Some of the components and schemas are outdated, so they simply don't work right now. It's really hard to figure out what's wrong - even my code looks exactly the same as from lesson - I still see the error and nothing helps. Also, as far as I know in TypeScript it is really not a good practice to use "any" as a type, because it makes using TypeScript pointless.

Great course. I mainly appreciate: - shows a lot of useful how-to's (pdf download, email sending...) - uses TypeScript - teaches things you might need in real-world - teacher keeps it simple and straightforward, doesn't refactor too much What I might appreciate in future courses: - learn how to send a real email - learn how to set up a simple CI/CD Thank you for a fantastic course!

Amazing course content and details with the latest technology in the industry, crud functionalities are top notch and literally more than just a Post and put requests, authentication is also more than just a simple login/logout . Ghulam is very generous to share his knowledge.

Ghulam is an experienced instructor! Throughout this course, he explained each line of code and was very quick to respond when I posted a question in the Q&A section. I don't know how he did that, but he answered withing minutes! The course is very up to date as of the time of this review and ALL dependencies and packages he used look the same for me as shown in the course (which means he updated all the videos). I totally recommend this course! Thank you Ghulam!

actually it's a great course but it really need to be updated, iam working with next js 13.4 and iam trying to implements the functionality with the new features that next js but there is ofcourse something are very hard to implement with the newer version of next js, so i hope that he can update the course *update : the course is actually updated now and using next js 13 app router and typescript really great course and great instructor and the instructor replies to all messages very quickly

Amazing course for me! I just done a half of the course but you taught very good! This course is not for beginner. Last thing, some knowledge is outdate but you can know it because the error will through and give us a link how to fix it. Don't worry!

Ghulam never ceases to amaze me with his course offerings! I have only enrolled for his two full stack development courses, and in my experience & opinion, they are hands down the best-est you could find on Udemy or any other similar platform. I have three reasons to say so: 1. He follows a lot of best practices, doesn't take shortcuts to make things easier and writes very scalable code 2. On top of being a naturally gifted teacher who provides eloquent explanations, he is super-duper prompt at answering student queries & resolving doubts. And he just won't stop until you are clear with the doubt. 3. His material covers almost every single essential feature that you would require in a modern web app and he shows you how to do things end to end without leaving you stranded anywhere. Unlike his NodeJS course (which is beginner friendly), his full stack development courses fall into the intermediate-advanced category. So, anyone with a basic primer can easily follow. I have one major complain with this course in particular and that forbids me from giving it a rating of full 5 stars. "The sound is really really low unless I plug in the headphones to listen to the lectures" As far as I can remember, this wasn't an issue with any of his former courses. I would strongly advise anyone looking for full stack development courses to purchase Ghulam's courses over instructors like Traversy Media , Maximilian Schwarzmuller & Ryan Dhungel's courses. Two things that Ghulam can do to improve his courses are: 1. Make lecture level git commits so that it's easier to follow and chances of making mistakes can be minimised. 2. Instead of copying html code from already made templates, usage of UI component library like Material UI or Ant Design would be more ideal.
