I wanted a class that explains the formulas in Mac Os Numbers. This is it! The examples are comprehensive and after each lesson, a template containing the formula taught can be downloaded for me to modify and use.

I really loved how the instructor delivers these lectures at a very affordable cost....I am seeing people just complaining about the speed that the instructor speaks very fast, the solution I came up with is just to decrease the speed of Udemy players. Problem solved! Apart from that this course is next to superb :)

The only note I have made so far is that the facilitator made a reference to Microsoft users in the 2nd section. Since his is a Numbers for Mac course, that kind of threw me. I would also be surprised if a Microsoft user was using numbers.... but I don't know everything. Also, I had to stop and back up a few times during this 30 minutes session because the facilitator is going REALLY fast. The content is good. I learned several things I did not know.

Instructor is very fluent and warm and taught nicely, I am from UK so just faced bit accent problem, but rated full because of value provided inside this course. Thanks and kudos to instructor & Udemy team.

Tomé este curso de Gary y lo he estudiado con detenimiento. Ahora me siento con habilidades y confianza en Numbers. Es un excelente curso. He comprado del mismo autor los cursos de Pages y Keynote y sé que dentro de poco manejaré el iWork con confianza

The course would be fine for what I want but the instructor needs to slow down. I don't have any experience with spreadsheets so I need to see what he is doing at a slower pace.

The Charts section was a bit thin on in-depth example. Displaying data graphically is very important. I did learn a lot. I reworked some formulas that now update and represent my numerical data changes much more efficiently. After watching this course. And rewatching certain section I was able to create a retirement sheet. I used the IRS RMD tables and put those on a sheet and used the lookup function based on two criteria to adjust expenses and income as need for RMD. From another sheet I also used lookup to calculate estimated taxes based on income type and tax requirements so I could add that to my main sheet which is income and expenses. So as I age, I can see what the likely hood of me meeting my income target and how taxes play into my income stream.

I have nothing against people from other countries. What I do have a problem with is trying to learn something from someone who has a heavy accent from some other country. If I had know in advance I would never have signed up for this course!
