Course Description

OpenLayers is a powerful, community-driven, open-source, JavaScript-based web mapping library, which allows us to develop web mapping applications using a great number of geospatial data sources, data formats, and open geospatial standards such as from the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC).
This course focuses on the latest version of the Openlayers 6, and is the most comprehensive and modern Openlayers course you can find in UDEMY. It starts with very basics and goes all the way to advanced concepts. Once we master all the Openlayers concepts, we build a complete Openlayers project in the last section.
By the end of this course, you can build amazing web mapping applications using Openlayers.

The subject matter is covered well and I learned a lot. I'm finally starting to get OL. I like that Nishanbaev goes into some detail about the apidoc since things are hard to find there which is probably due to the structure of OL (or is it JavaScript?).
However the demonstrations are a bit rough. And there are many times where a bit more preparation on his part would have made the demos better.
But I like that he's covering lots of ground in some detail. Code is available.
A comment for Udemy. I could understand Nishanbaev quite well but the Transcript didn't, maybe Udemy needs for different accents to be considered.

Really useful course to giving a good introduction to Open Layers. Presenter is excellent, really takes the time to explain and cover subjects. English is not fluent, but perfectly understandable. The odd mistake happens in code, but its really useful to see him debug and work out what is happening. There is some assumed knowledge in development skills, nothing too complicated but would be hard with no general understanding of HTML/CSS/JS. Some JS appears a bit janky, but totally understandable to keep simple and focussed on OS elements of course. Resources are good and presenter also appears active in the Q&A. Highly recommend, and will def look out for other courses by Ikrom. Thanks
Highly recommend if

This course could be shorter if the instructor prepared all the images ahead of the training, or copy & paste the code instead of typing directly

Nice and simple tutorial for beginners. Really learned and enjoyed it!

It sounded like the instructor's first language was not English and his accent was hard to understand. The transcript was equally poor and had not been edited, so did not help. This made understanding the subject matter difficult at times.

The instructions are clear and easy to follow. An additional course for intermediate / advanced users would be nice to have!

Nice experience of quickly learning OpenLayer concepts at ease. Very well explained and demonstrated course on open layer
