I'm so sorry but this course, at least on the installation side (part 2) is not up to date, without any updated material. You will install a wrong Oracle Linux version, and then, you won't find the Oracle 18c.zip file that you need to install the same version as Khaled is doing. This should be updated to don't make us lose time.

A great introductory course in Oracle. Khaled goes beyond the basics and even takes some time to explain basic Linux and why we pick some of the default options when installing Oracle. If you know MSSQL and want to learn Oracle or you are just new to Oracle DB engine and want to setup your own VM and learn, this is a fantastic course.

As Junior Oracle DBA. In my daily routine task, the most challenging task is when tablespace threshold alert reach the critical alarm. To clear it is very difficult, but for now, l learnt the way to add the space or adding datafile to existing tablespace and exporting data from one schema to another or from one pluggable database to another or from one table to another. The course gave complete concept about oracle database administration. Thank you Khaled for creating this wonderful course.

I am a social science graduate, and wanted to pivot to the IT industry ever since the covid pandemic. I joined this course very early in the year. Now, we are almost at the end of the year, and I have acquired my Oracle Database Administration 2019 Certified Professional cert. These are my thoughts about the course: Pros: 1. Well-structured - PowerPoint slides explain the concept, followed by demonstrations which show the concept in action. 2. Many hands-on exercises. I play the videos on one screen and simultaneously follow along the demos on another screen. Cons: 1. The videos currently inside this course covered the download and the install of Oracle database version 18c on Oracle Linux 7. I needed to further read other online resources in order to download and to install 19c on my Oracle Linux 8. Currently, the latest available version is 21c. I think the instructor can consider updating this course with videos on how students can download and install the latest Oracle db version on the latest Oracle Linux. 2. I didn't get coverage of Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control and Oracle Enterprise Manager Database Express in the course. Overall, I feel Khaled's course has still been a big help to me. The course even covered a tiny bit of 1z0-083 - introduction to RMAN, creating PDB, local undo mode, flashback. I finished the course feeling confident to tackle the advanced topics independently, and subsequently pushed on to take 1z0-083 after passing 1z0-082.

I've taken the oracle course for 12c Database Administration, and it didn't go into the detail that this one did in some areas. I am highly impressed. I felt like I really grasped the skills that the instructor was conveying. He was easy to follow and gave GREAT examples to drive home the points. Thanks Khaled! Amazing course!

The course is giving a basic overview on oracle12 and higher with certain points what you should take more attention on. Everything is clear in the instructor's lectures and presentations, and explanations are very good. I would definitely recommend this course for DBA beginners and SQL developers who wants to know more about oracle architecture.

This course is pretty good. There's a little bit of language barrier but you get used to it. If you are taking the 1Z0-062 exam, do not rely on these videos alone. There was a lot of information not covered on the exam. Mainly DBaaS, and upgrading to 12c. These Test I took had a lot of choose 2, choose 3 answers so you really need to know the ins and outs of all the subjects.

It was completely amazing course for me and I enjoyed this course a lot while studying. The teaching method is very nice and all the practicals are performed in this course are very easy to memorise. Thanks a lot to Khaled. And now, we are expecting 1Z0-083 course from you Khaled, because as we pass the 082 it also requires 083 to earn the certificate from ORACLE. Thank You... one more time Khaled.

100% satisfecho!!!.
