Given the length of the course and price (when not on special), more emphasis should be given to the fact that the presenter has a heavy accent and the course is geared heavily towards DBAs or those with DBA privileges on the Oracle database.The information is useful, but takes time to absorb and requires practical application also.(Added an extra 1/2 star to rating as requested and because the course was interesting and could be completed quickly without getting distracted)

The course is the best I've come across for such a confusing and often badly communicated subject matter. It is taught at a perfect level for any reasonably experienced Oracle developer with good explanations at every lecture.If it were edited to make it a bit more concise it has the material for a decent text book which appear to be in short supply.

This is a good course, helped me to understand better execution plans and explain plans.

The course is good, it brings a lot of important information. Some sections, such as Table and Index Access Path and Optimization Hists, are excellent. The explanation of some Oracle database architecture concepts is confusing. The explanation of selectivity addressed only equijoins. I hoped there was more information on histograms and how handle it.
