I've been engaged in chemistry for the last 15 years as a student, tutor, and instructor. I love watching people understand chemistry concepts that they previously thought were too difficult or abstract. My primary goal is to help you overcome any anxieties or frustration that you feel towards chemistry. Hopefully, I can help you view Organic Chemistry as an elegant natural puzzle with solutions that are beautiful to see and satisfying to accomplish.

Muy buen curso!, explicado de forma dinámica y muy comprensible, a la espera de que se actualice el curso y se suban más técnicas espectroscópicas y tal vez algunos ejemplos de moléculas más complejas para dejar mis 5 estrellas

-Extremely useful diagnostic tools for IR and MS. I work with IR and MS almost every day, so I'll be watching sections 1 - 4 multiple times. -First time exposure to NMR, so sections 5 - 7 gave my brain a lot to chew on. -The combo practice problems helped bring it all together.

My professor is really confusing when teaching this material, and I hate to say it, but I don't even take notes in class anymore. These videos have truly gotten through, and I've already gotten a 10/10 on my first quiz (working on IR, MS and NMR Spec at the beginning of O-Chem 2)!

It's an excellent course for any undergraduate student. I've really liked the detailed explanations, the duration of the videos, the colorful writing and the examples used to illustrate the concepts! The challenge combo problems are the best! I wish there were a few more... I would just add some more multiple choice quizzes here and there in the sections that don't have any.

The explanations are very good and it's really easy to correlate with different types of sections together which falls in this spectrum. This is completely a new experience for me and now I'm seeing these spectrums in a completely different way, now I can understand things very clearly. Thank you very much!

Thank you so much for this course. I attended a grad school level class for organic structure determination this past spring (2020), but COVID-19 ruined most of my learning experience. Your course helped filled in the gaps I struggled with the most. Thank you.

A good introductory course for beginners. It concentrates largely on the interpretation of spectra and could be improved upon by giving more detailed explanations of the physics that underlie the techniques described.

I have always wanted to learn spectroscopy from basics. I need to know how to interpret the spectra for my research purpose. From the beginning of this course, i feel that this is the right course for me and the instructor made the concept clear and easy to understand. Overall, he makes the course very interesting. Thank you, sir. I recommend one should join this course if he/she want to have clear basics on spectroscopy.

I think this course is so basic and superficial. I waited for more complex examples at the end of every spectoroscopic methods but there was just aliphatic and monofunctional molecules in almost every example. I think this course is good for understanding the basic principles but not suitable for advanced chem students. I would be happy if a spectroscopy lesson with more advanced and complex examples comes.

The didactics are excellent! It's really well explained. If possible, I'll definitely use these videos for future reviewing. I think the professor doesn't have much time to answer our questions, but apart from that the course is great.
