Wright provides rich insights into the scriptures. He brings them to life and shows the depth of the words. He continually reminds the listener of the richness of God's grace and its transformative power. The key is being mindful everyday of staying connected to the Holy Spirit and filling ourselves with good so that good will flow from us.

I like that this course gave me a different way of seeing what Paul was talking about. It helped me to see that God was actually bring the world back to the state that it was in before Adam's transgression. It was taught in a way that was different than most of the studies that I have heard. It was taught with the finished works in view.

After viewing the videos, our group discussions took many paths. Most led us not just to new information but to how live in a new way because of the information. Buddy Coffey was our discussion leader and his years of study of the Scriptures, his prayers and how he has lived his life because of that helped as the Spirit spoke to each of us involved in the group.

This course challenged me, and the members in my group, to think deeply about our beliefs and behaviours that hinge on those beliefs. It was nothing short of revelatory, and the spiritual journey ahead is so much more exciting and embodied than I realised. Thanks, Prof Wright, for inspiring us!

Very good. A bit challenging.. required familarity of OT background. Would be nice if the biblical references are actually given in the lecture rather than just implied or mentioned in passing. Also, the concept of heaven & earth coming together is such an important concept, it should not be assumed from the beginning. Perhaps some background should be given in the introduction to help readers not familiar with this biblical concept/development to learn about it first, before diving into the letter itslef.

Yes, it is a good match. The teaching is great, but seemed to move too fast, and there weren't enough questions to cover the whole passage, and not enough space on the paper to take good notes. Maybe good to listen to the presentation in bits, then pause and answer questions before moving on.

I am seeing King Jesus in a new light- as an American, I think, the word king has lost it's sovereign authority and beauty and how the word applies and identifies who and what Jesus is. This course is opening my eyes and heart in new ways to understand the relationship of symbols in the Old Testament and the fulfillment in Christ- and so many more connections...

Currently we are seeing may deep conflicts within churches over CV19 and the elections. Prof. Wright's exposition of Ephesians reminds me of two things: 1. We serve a new Lord and Father. My allegiance is first to be to Him, not some some political party. 2. God has a new way for us to be human - serve rather that be served, forgive, respect and honor all, be compassionate, etc. I need to become intentional in these new thinkings and actions. As I do, I will be revealing to the world that God is real.

I can't get enough of NT Wright's description of the message of creation + new creation and how he shows us this theme over and over again throughout the whole Bible. Mind-blowing, encouraging, life changing. This theme changes my perspective about how I see the world and my role in it as a new creation person. Thank you, NT Wright. Grateful.

Yes, Good match in helping bring together Ephesians vision of What God was doing in Christ and how it was intended to relate Jew and Gentile and world. . Wrights disappointment in how far churches of today have not accepted the unity Christ intended for the whole Church I wholeheartedly agree with. Still have not caught the vision. Much less unity of Jews and Gentiles. Greater disappointment: Christians have not held together God' deep concern for the world and look upon purpose of being a christian as for heaven only. Keeps us from proper focus. One part I am not convinced this book was written historically by Paul rather than later Pauline influenced writer seeking to apply Paul's understanding to time after Paul died.
