Tobias u r an awesome teacher. i wish we had teachers doing courses on our native hindi songs in India.. i am registering for ur full course on u r website. just check out, there are just a couple of overlooked points like u say snare for bass in one lesson and one tablature has missed a bass notation in bass, snare and strum combination. not to point out. just want to make it perfect. ty

Great course and wish there was way more content though. Going to take lots of playing this over and over to incorporate into my regular playing. Anyone else get a super sore strumming arm!? Also, I would like to see some lessons on how to bring this style into other songs and how to create my own songs with this. Seems like more of the first chapter to an expanded course.

Great Course for an introduction to Percussive guitar. Very clear and easy to follow. I would highly recommend it. I am so impressed with how well this course was taught that I plan on going further with percussive guitar on his website. (Absolutely no association with the teacher; just very happy with this basic course. You never really know what you're going to get online until you buy it an go through it.) Anyone who has been learning an instrument online knows how hard it can be to find a good teacher that will go step by step and show you exactly what they are doing. Oftentimes a teacher will go through something and then move on to the next thing and you're thinking, "Wait, what happened there? What did you do exactly?" This course was very detailed and there was no having to guess what exactly was going on. Highly recommend it.

Ce fut une expérience très enrichissante bien que je m'attendais à plus de ,''fingerpicking''. Les accords brossés (''down n' upstroke'') sonnaient inégales. Toutes les frappes de percussion me comblaient. Un tempo plus rapide me permettrait de sentir davantage le rythme. Belle expérience à mettre en valeur dans mon jeu personnel.

Learned the song in less than two weeks and already applying what I learnt to my songs. This guitar style is revolutionary. Tobias had been incredibly clear in every part of the course and helped me building the technique piece by piece. I’m so happy! Thanks Tobias!

Overall this was a great course - it provides a good overview of percussive basics, and thankfully each section of the song uses different patterns and combinations of hits so that you won't come out of this course only having learned a single beat pattern. The song that you learn is not particularly long unfortunately, but it is enough to get a taste for this style of playing and (at least for me) inspiration to learn more and experiment with adding the hits to other songs.

Prior to this course I had no experience with finger style guitar, much less percussive finger style. This exceptionally structured course took me through the basics of this style using one of Tobias' custom made songs. The pace is perfect. There are so many supplemental materials but the videos are really all you need to practice. By the end I felt much more confident in my playing and now I feel like I have learned techniques that can be used in future jam sessions and song writing. Played this song in front of friends and they always ask how I learned to play so well so quickly. 100% would recommend.

Thank you Tobias for this great course. It took me quite a lot of time to accomplish it because I really wanted to "digest" all exercises. It deserves more then 5 stars. All the best and good luck. Gian EDIT: It would be really nice if you put at least two (2) real songs into the course, after the connecting bits and bites of learning techniques in the final video 73. Full Song Play-along. This is good and working course for the beginning, but I feel somehow like being left in the air. The stuff is good but what this course needs is a practical approach. Or at least, can you add a couple of videos on how to approach a new songs we are learning and how to apply these techniques on them with examples. You are really knowledgeable and excellent guitar player. Such advice would be invaluable.

I like the course. Tobias is a down to earth teacher. And will guide and motivate you throughout. This is better than the percussive guitar course on truefire. I wish he added more lectures about applying the techniques to popular songs.
