Perplexity AI Masterclass 2026: Research, Write & Automate (Udemy.com)

I strongly recommend not taking this course. It is outdated. The Perplexity interface has changed, and all the features the instructor talks about are gone. Perplexity has evolved significantly, yet he continues discussing things that no longer exist. Therefore, this is not a complete Perplexity course; it feels like a fraudulent one. Furthermore, the course update log claims the content has been updated, but upon enrolling, you will see that it has not. Please do not enroll in this course.

All lessons were great. My only gripe is that the UI has changed quite a bit in that some of the features discussed, were not in the same place today as they were when you created it. Hopefully it get's updated soon, so that it not only touches upon the great content you have currently, but give you opportunity to talk about new features and things that might not be covered.

Excellent coverage of the extensively rich capabilities of Perplevity search. I have been a pro level user utilising it's capabilities in amateur way. This course (and at this point there is more to come), has made me realise; A) What I have been missing. B) Just how well structured and powerful Perplexity is. I have one criticism and that is the timelyness of the content. It would benefit from revisions to how current the model access is. This would be well served by an annual update of the Ai models available. For the most part the models reflected are from 2024 not 2026.

most of it has been a good match but the version of perplexity in the material is much older than the version of Perplexity that I am currently using. This causes some mismatching in the material presented and how I might do it my current version

A very good course for beginners! Scratched the surface and was able to delve deeper. The presenter is calm and poised and is very clear with instructions adn communication of the information. Style of teaching is very pleasant and is able to share his knowledge seamlessly. Thanks once again, George!

This was a well-structured and smart course. I found that the instructor sometimes glazed over some very important tips at times, and spent a little too much time on very obvious instructions. But if you pay attention and take notes, you will learn a ton from this course; I ultimately definitely recommend.

A great overview of Perplexity's amazing features. George speaks with confidence of the main functionalities, giving clear examples and comparisons about this specific AI. He then show us why Perplexity stands among the best AI to use for researches and content writing, adding to the fact this AI could utilize other AI models to go further. Bravo !

I found this course easy to follow and very informative. I feel ready to get stuck in and use Perplexity - and to get the best out of it. I would have liked to have had an explanation of API's when talking about the Pro Version. Thank you.

+ Detailed and systematic enough. Technically, good introduction into Perplexity; - a) Overly optimistic about Perplexity. The course represents Perplexity as nearly a panacea and a very reliable thing. Actually, it is not so, because Perplexity is quite able to make mistakes; make unsound conclusions, fail to find sources that can be found via Google search etc. What is probably the worst, it is able to provide false information citing sources where this information actually cannot be found. Course students should be taught to be cautious about this and not to overrely on Perplexity; b) While a lot was told about how to generate texts (including academic texts) with Perplexity, the ethical part is short and not much persuasive. I cannot imagine at all any circumstances when disseminating an academic text generated by the AI could be ethical. Yes, it can be ethical under some conditions to use the AI as an assistant during some stages of research but, again, not to disseminate an entirely or mostly AI-generated text. So, in the current form the course provokes very suspicious academic practices and a brief ethical part does not neutralize this much.

A Friend introduced me to Perplexitiy. This Course helped me to truley unterstand the power of this tool. During the course I got a lot of ideas I'm going to use Perplexity in the futur. Thank you for an amazing learning
