Course Description
A lot of photographers have asked me how I get tweens and teens to look natural in family photos. It's TOUGH, trust me, but it's not impossible to get older kids to relax and enjoy a family session. A lot of it is how you interact with them. I have created a video that shows the difference of how I photograph a family with older kids compared to photographing a family with younger kids. Bottom line, they are just two completely different sessions. Watch me as I teach you tips and tricks with working with different ages!

I am a Salt Lake City based portrait photographer. I have loved photography since my dad handed me his Pentax at age 13. I have loved my journey and I hope to help you on yours. I teach photographers how to get clients to relax in front of your lens and create natural images that they are proud of!

Photography is fun! Family pictures are fun and memorable. Children like to play games and have fun also. Overall, the lectures were interesting and a learning experience. Out door photography can be challenging, however, fun and getting involved is one way of making the event successful and fullfilling. Thank you absolutely. Excellent!

Appreciate that the course shows actual shoots and talks through them. At times I hoped for a little more direct coaching to the viewer, and saw a few spots that should have been edited out for professionalism.

I love that she gives live actual photo shoots. I am very new at trying to do serious photography so it would be helpful to know the lens she used with the subjects running toward and back away from her. I tend to use auto focus in cases like that.

This was great! I loved hearing you talk through what your thinking in how to pose them. I loved seeing the final shot with the camera settings. I wish there were more if them.
