I already started learning cornet with a face to face teacher and wanted to learn piano. That's when I came across Amosdoll on YouTube before lockdown and used his video to learn Pirates of the Carribean in class. He's not like other channels on YouTube and will actually go through the steps of playing the song with you. Very helpful music teacher in general!

I started playing every now and then when I was a child, but it was until now that I finally understand what the notes to each key are. Since this whole pandemic thing with the virus is going on, I can finally have the downtime to want to play the piano again! Thank you

This course is basically setting you up for an advertisement to purchase his *real* course on his private website. All of the talk about being able to play piano by ear is hyped up throughout the course, but never actually delivered. When you finally get to the end, you're given a link to where the "real" information is at. I spent about 7 years of school playing music, so almost the entire middle section of this course was useless. In preparation to learn how to play by ear, he gives you a few sections dedicated to how to read music. That's not play-by-ear and he just keeps hyping it up, by saying you need to understand music in order to play it. Not wrong, but not how this course was advertised. At the very end, he tries to make you feel better by saying only about 2% of people actually finish the course; but considering that they were probably as disappointed by this purchase as I was, I'm surprised a full 2% made it to the end. No doubt that he's a masterful pianist, but he's not selling what he's advertising. I gave this course 1.5 stars, because I did learn a few things about the piano, so it wasn't a complete wash, but since this wasn't the content that I thought I was paying for, I can't bring myself to go any higher.

Instructions are clear and easy to understand . The speed of the tutorial is just the right speed not too fast n not too clear . The quiz part acts as a revision to the lesson . As far as i am concern is the right approach for me to learn at my pace .

I thought it was really awesome how you can play any song by ear within 10-20 minutes. A lot of times, people who are self taught, and/or can "play by ear", are only able to play by ear to a certain extent. And usually they don't know how to read sheet music, so they are limited, but you are the real deal. Your work on YouTube is amazing. I also really liked the fact that you still believe the ability to read sheet music is important to be a great musician, but that you shouldn't be heavily reliant on it, and how you believe the two work together. I hope to become a piano master like you! Keep up the great work! :)

Honestly bought this thinking it would be just drills teaching me how to improve hand independence and motor skills, but I also got all that's in there. I hated those at first but now I realize how important theory is, and how much I would love to give the piano a proper learning.

I've learned quite a bit already The placement of the keys and memorizing the position of each key and which note they represent. It encourages me to be more disciplined with my training. So I have to say yeah so far so good.

The courses are friendly, very instructive and funny. It teach all about the basis of piano in a very entertainment way. I would recommend this courses to everyone who just started to play piano or are interested on learn the basis again.

I am self taught play by ear and have been playing about two years. I am dubious about new courses because I don't want to waste my money covering old ground. I am so glad I took the chance and took this course. I have already learned some new tricks, as well as learned several things that I have been doing wrong. The teacher is obviously his own best example, because he is an amazing player, as well as a passionate teacher. I am sure I am going to be a better player by taking this course.

This course has been pretty helpful and teaching the basics of piano. I haven't finished the whole course yet, but it feels like I'm actually learning something. Much better and cheaper then the Piano lessons I've taken before.
