Why Playwright?
Playwright enables fast, reliable and capable testing and automation across all modern browsers.
Support for all browsers
Test on Chromium, Firefox and WebKit. Playwright has full API coverage for all modern browsers, including Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge (with Chromium), Apple Safari (with WebKit) and Mozilla Firefox. Test can run in headful and headless modes
Fast and reliable execution
By fast I mean REALLY fast!
Auto-wait APIs. Playwright interactions auto-wait for elements to be ready. This improves reliability and simplifies test authoring.
Fast isolation with browser contexts. Reuse a single browser instance for multiple isolated execution environments with browser contexts.
Resilient element selectors. Playwright can rely on user-facing strings, like text content and accessibility labels to select elements.
Multiple domains, pages and frames. Playwright is an out-of-process automation driver that is not limited by the scope of in-page JavaScript execution and can automate scenarios with multiple pages.

This course is perfect. I am new to Playwright but quite familiar with Python so this is helping me get up to speed quickly on automation. Love it

The tutor clearly has a lot of knowledge about playwright and the subject matter of this course in general. However, I feel the lessons could have been better prepared. Sometimes the explanations are a bit confusing and disconnected. It would also be a good idea to have some exercises in the course, instead of just trying to follow what's being done in the videos. Even if it's just more quizzes.

This is a great course! It does exactly what it says and presents the most common and useful features of playwright with python, while at the same time providing references to the official tooling documentation for reference and further study. I was able to log in to the example app and follow along and test out my own modifications to the instruction materials as well.

The course is good, it might be nice to throw in some short quiz in some of the sections like locators just to keep people focused. The lecture is really great and well done but I find myself drifting off to my phone when I should be paying more attention. A short quiz would help with that.

Great course to start for Playwright. Includes CI/CD, visual testing which are a bonus. What I missed are asynchronous functions, BDD. No exercises to learn and no projects/challenges to work what is learnt. But author showed the documentation quite frequently throughout the course to encourage self-learning on those missed concepts.

It's really good tutorial. Its only lack of API testing with Playwright framework. I'm leaving 5 stars anyway. It would be good to add this in future

This was a great starter for Python with Playwright however it would be very useful to create one more video just explaining the difference between POM and Fixtures and when to apply POM vs Fixture as I personally got a little confused between the two. Also, I noticed that videos did not have continuity in the sense that code created in video 1 for example were used in video 5 again and so on.. but that could be because some new videos got added later which is totally understandable. Overall it was a good starting point, I am happy with the CI/CD class specifically. Thank you Symon!

1. No code references next to the lesson 2. Examples not explained in detail, there was a lack of showing what some actions come from. 3. pytest.fixture - no demonstration of how to pass arguments from the test. In general, I have the impression that this functionality is not used in the way it was shown in the course.

A nice way to start with Playwright on Python, I missed a more bigger example when developing the project. Also, it looks like Playwright seems to have similar issues to Selenium regarding waits and context. A complete chapter dedicated to analyze and resolve some of the issues would be a good addition to the course.
