Our take

Based on the ratings of 24,585 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in March 2026. No course pays to be reviewed.

This is a short sampler on vibe coding, which means building apps by describing them to an AI. It runs about 2.5 hours across 27 lectures. The biggest block is a Lovable project, then guest experts build with Claude and Windsurf, and a final project uses Base44 for an app with a backend. It's pitched at both non-coders and developers, and nothing needs installing. Gustavo Escobar Henríquez leads, with guests on the middle projects. Think of it as a first look, not a training program.

Most reviewers give it four or five stars and call it a quick, practical introduction. Two liked the role-play exercises, which help explain the business value of AI to non-technical colleagues. One enjoyed seeing real people instead of AI voices. The complaints repeat. The Lovable section drags and feels like copy and paste to some. Free-plan screens have changed since recording, so examples are hard to follow exactly. One reviewer says enterprise environments will not allow cloud tools like these near company IP. The low scores say it leans toward developers, jumps around, and that the presenter's accent and energy grated. Others found him warm and funny.

With 37,205 students and a 4.5 average across 24,585 ratings, it's well liked, and it was updated in March 2026, which matters when these tools keep changing. It's short enough to finish in an evening or two. Pick it to get oriented and see what these builders can do. If you want depth in one tool or serious guidance for workplace use, plan on another course after this one.

Best forNon-coders and team leads who want a quick first look at building small apps with Lovable, Base44 and Claude.
Skip it ifYou want to learn real programming, or need tools your employer's security team will allow for company code.

Pros

  • Short at about 2.5 hours, so it fits into a couple of sittings
  • Role-play exercises practice explaining AI's business value to non-technical people
  • Samples several tools, with guest experts building in Claude and Windsurf
  • The final Base44 project adds a backend, which reviewers found more real

Cons

  • The Lovable section runs long and feels like quick copy and paste to some
  • Free-plan screens have changed, so examples can be hard to follow exactly
  • Leans toward developers, moves fast, and some find the presenter's style tiresome
Good, quick overview of various Vibe Coding tools and methods. I liked the examples and guest speakers that provided a broad overview of the technology.
Jason Anderson, a student

Marked All Levels, but it suits non-coders and team leads best. Nothing to install, though one novice found it fast and overwhelming.

Course Description

Build AI-Powered Web Apps Without Writing Code

Vibe coding is transforming how we build software — fast, flexible, and powered by AI. Whether you're a developer, a product manager, or someone with no coding background at all, you no longer need to wait on dev cycles or approvals to bring your ideas to life.

In this course, you'll learn the fundamentals of vibe coding and how to use it to create useful, real-world web apps — without needing to write traditional code or use complex development environments.

What Is Vibe Coding — and Why Now?

Vibe coding is the fastest way to build and launch software using natural language, AI assistance, and low-code platforms. It’s not just about playing with prompts. It’s about learning to:

  • Think like a builder

  • Break down your idea clearly

  • Use the right tools to go from concept to working app — fast

You’ll learn how vibe coding fits into modern software workflows, and why companies and teams are already using it to create internal tools, dashboards, automations, and prototypes.

Learn by Doing — 4 Real Projects with 4 Tools

This course isn’t about theory. You’ll build real applications step by step, using some of the most powerful vibe coding tools available today.

We’ll cover:

  • Lovable – Build a gamified sales tracker with sleek UI

  • Base44 – Create a backend-connected app for internal use

  • Cursor (with Valentin Despa) – Learn how to build from a developer’s perspective

  • Claude (with Federico Garay) – Build a powerful dashboard using Claude

Each tool teaches you different skills, but the focus stays on how to think and build like a vibe coder, no matter what tool you’re using.

Prompting Skills That Actually Work

You’ll also learn how to write effective prompts that get you better results — faster. We’ll cover:

  • How to use ChatGPT to shape and define your project

  • How to break down your idea into a clear, buildable structure

  • How to adjust and iterate prompts to fix bugs or improve features

  • How to use prompt guidelines from each tool to make your workflow smoother

This isn’t just AI for fun — this is AI for production, for teams, and for real business value.

Who This Course Is For

This course is designed for both technical and non-technical learners. You don’t need a software engineering background. If you can describe your idea, you can build it.

It’s perfect for:

  • Developers looking to move faster

  • Non-coders who want to build real apps

  • Product managers, founders, consultants, and team leads

  • Anyone interested in low-code, AI-powered app development

By the End of This Course, You'll Be Able To:

  • Build full apps using low-code AI tools — with or without coding experience

  • Identify great use cases for vibe coding inside companies

  • Collaborate better with developers and technical teams

  • Create dashboards, trackers, internal tools, and simple public-facing apps

  • Use AI like ChatGPT to plan, prototype, and prompt efficiently

  • Understand how to debug, test, and adapt your builds responsibly

Join the Future of Software Creation

Software development is evolving — and vibe coding is one of the biggest shifts we’ve seen in years. It puts the power to build in the hands of more people — and this course shows you how to use it well.

Whether you’re launching a new idea, automating internal work, or just tired of waiting for dev cycles to catch up, vibe coding lets you move faster — and smarter.

200,000 professionals and entrepreneurs have taken my courses. That number means something only because of what comes after it: over 70,000 student reviews and hundreds of LinkedIn recommendations from people who got real results.

I'm Gustavo Escobar, Udemy Instructor Partner. I teach practical AI, sales strategies, leadership, and business skills to corporate teams who want to perform at a higher level and to entrepreneurs who want to grow smarter. My courses are used inside major companies worldwide, and by independent business owners building on their own terms.

Over more than a decade I have developed a teaching style that is direct, practical, and immediately applicable. Every lesson is built around decisions and skills that create real impact at work or in a business.

I teach in English and Spanish, and I run in-company training for organizations that want results, not just certificates.

Inside The Online Entrepreneurs Club, my Udemy community, I share exclusive audio content twice a month covering AI, business decisions, and what I am actually working on, plus a space to ask questions and connect with other people building something real.

If that sounds like what you need, you are in the right place.

I found this course to be a good introduction to vibe coding and AI-assisted development. The content was easy to follow, the examples were practical, and the role-playing exercises helped me think about the business value of AI, not just the technical aspects. As someone with a technical background, I appreciated learning how to communicate benefits such as time savings, risk reduction, and faster prototyping to non-technical stakeholders. Overall, the course was a good match for me and provided useful ideas that I can explore in my daily work.

By Zlatko VIDRIH on 8/21/2026

Quick overview of vibe coding with good examples. However, at work you probably wouldn't ne using cloud based tools like lovable or base44, so in those terms i wouldn't treat this as vibe coding at work, but it is vibe coding 101 (tools are just tools). Enterprise environment will not allow sharing of anything IP, that can later be found on google...

Great course to discover Vibe Coding and understand the fundamentals. As Vibe Coding tools and platforms are changing continuously, the examples provided are a little bit tricky to test - as the interfaces or functionnalities in free plans have changed. By I had a great moment, thank you Gustavo !

By ANNA MATRAY on 4/15/2026

Yes he has an accent, No it did not bother me. I enjoyed his energy, spark, sense of humour. He tries to connect with people to make it understandable and enjoyable to learn and use.

By John Solomon on 3/12/2026

I enjoyed the course, it may not be competely within allowable large Corporate Environments, but it has given me food for thought. I certainly have many questions from the Management who decided this course is compulsory.

By Gabriel Oliva on 3/9/2026

"Vibe coding" is just another word to make the AI do everything for you; I guess it is a revolution on all the work environments related to IT, but I can't help but think that this can just replace a whole workforce and just make automate bots do everything within a company. I'm not sure if this is just a "tool" or a replacement.

By Julie Coombes on 3/6/2026

Great course, even though within my job I don't use anything like this but it may come handy in the near future if my job role changes. I will downloading different application like Base44 and Loveable to my personal laptop and have a play to see if I can implement it into my existing role. Thank you for your time and expertise.

By Alejandro Angel Zamudio on 3/5/2026

Great instructor, clear and direct. Pace was also great. And it was a discovry that vibe coding can do so much, especially for a person with no tecnical background in coding.

By Colby Nowlin on 2/16/2026

Practical information on steps to take. The instructor breaks down information clearly and effectively. Great personality for teaching as well. Great course!

One of the better courses in the DXC GTCO AI Learning Path. I'm a software developer with over two decades of experience. Most of my work is in safety critical environments. Software development using AI prompt engineering feels too good and too easy to be true. It's a good starting point sure, but like all AI generated content, it requires the input of a skilled, experienced person to verify, refine and test it. I'm worried that some people will misuse this technology to generate plausible output and then consider this output 'job done'. It isn't, obviously. What worries me even more is Black Box software development - the scenario where AI is allowed to write and refactor its own code and human developers cannot understand how it works.
